Sideway textures on IC2 blocks

Title: Sideway textures on IC2 blocks

Version: 0.5.7

OS: Windows 7 64 bit

Java Version: Java 64 bit version 7 update 5

Description of Problem:

Tekkit lite version : 0.5.7 the textures on IC2 blocks are facing sideway,NORTHward. If i brake them and replace them they will have their normal texture again. This happens after every relog in even if i broke them and replaced them previously.

EDIT:

- Same happens if i change dimension ( go to the nether / mystcraft world )

- Also IC2 wire paints are disappearing

- Machines do not lose their functionality ( e.g.: Solar panels still produce EU )

I did not experience this on blocks from other mods.

System preferences :

CPU .: Intel core i3 M370

GPU .: ATI (AMD) Mobility Radeon HD 5730

RAM .: 4GB

EDIT : same thing happens if i go to another dimension (nether) and come back to the overworld.

Im having the same issue before the patch today i was running fine when I tried to play my voltz game i could not log in i deleted the folder for voltz and downloaded another what was strange is when i opened my lite it offered me a upgrade for voltz and then i logged into lite it was the right game. but it offered me a yes and no ? when i hit no it says disabling sever. Then freezes up if i hit yes it goes threw but all my machines are facing different directions.

I'm having the exact same problem. For come reason, all my IC2 blocks' heads are facing the adjacent side than it was in the past.

It seems the server maintains the correct orientation, Its quite unnerving to see hv transformers installed "backwards". Also, paint on painted wires disappears. Its still there, and works its just invisible after you logout/whatever.

There is a temporary solution till they fix this. You just need to downgrade IndustrialCraft to version 1.114 . I Hope it will be fixed for the next update.

I can't seem to find v1.114 they only give out a maximum of v1.111, can someone please megaupload v.114 or somethign? Thanks

will clients have to update or change things as well? Any idea when technic will update /and or fix the tekkit lite client?

Yes, they have to be using the same version industrial craft as the server. There is a video about the custom zip feature on this site somewhere that tells you exactly how it works.

I solved this by getting 1.115.213 version of IC2, which i found on http://minecraftuniverse.wikia.com/wiki/Industrial_Craft_2_Mod

The page posted by Woolz shows v220 as the current build version, which turned out to be unstable (clientside) for me. I ended up searching through the change history from the jenkins build log at http://ic2api.player.to:8080 and it looks like this specific issue is fixed at v209. Any version at or after 209 that is stable for you should work.

Sorry to bump this, but I have 1.115.208 installed via a custom .zip and I'm still getting the issue.

I know it loaded properly, as it shows up as such on the "mods" button. How else have people fixed this issue?

The new 0.6.1 tekkit lite Patch seems to have fixed this for me.
