Noobfire Posted March 11, 2013 Posted March 11, 2013 I'm playing Tekkit Lite with Equivalent Exchange 3, so I'm lacking any EMC values on my items and only can convert using the given recipes and the usage of Minium Stone. Additionally, there are over 30-50 stacks of lapis lazuli in my chests that are totally unused. Is there a way of changing dyes into others or something to convert Lapis Lazuli into Iron/Wood or sth like that? Quote
Teraku Posted March 11, 2013 Posted March 11, 2013 Once semi-working EMC and transmutation comes out, then yes. Otherwise, check some of the Minium Stone recipes involving Lapis. Quote
Sweetjebus Posted March 12, 2013 Posted March 12, 2013 I *think* you can use the minium stone to change a dye to another colour, then that colour to another and so on. I could be mistaken, but I think its possible. Although if that's correct, the lapis in your chest is still only useful as dyes. Quote
Teraku Posted March 12, 2013 Posted March 12, 2013 Unless you can turn stuff into Bonemeal, and then back into Bones. Quote
Flextt Posted March 12, 2013 Posted March 12, 2013 Unless you can turn stuff into Bonemeal, and then back into Bones. If I understand what you are saying, that is entirely possible. 2 Bonemeal equal 1 Bone (with Minium Stone), 1 Bone macerates into 5 Bone meal. You can essentially mass produce bleached dyes without having to use excessive amounts of Bone Meal. On the other hand: According to the FTB wiki (http://feed-the-beast.wikia.com/wiki/Minium_Stone#Block_Transmutations) you can freely transmute colored (wool only?) blocks into each other. This, in turn, makes my option above crappy. Anyhow, it seems like you can use lapis atm only for: - high-end cooling components in Reactors. This is probably the way to go if you want to dump massive amounts. - coloring wools, construction foam, ... - Lapotron crystals & advanced circuits Quote
