Flame Spirit Posted March 31, 2013 Posted March 31, 2013 I was working in a dense ore world (which was very slow to being with) and accidentally broke a nether ore, which caused a chain reaction making the entire world explode. I can log in for a few seconds before being lagged out. What I'm looking for is a way to just save my inventory and place myself back in my overworld without losing anything. Any help would be appreciated! Quote
nedned2k Posted March 31, 2013 Posted March 31, 2013 There's no way to do this without cheating, but what you could try is putting the world into a server on your computer, connecting to localhost, then quickly using the /tpx command in the console to teleport your character to the overworld. Either that, or take a screenshot of your inventory before you die, then cheat in the items again later. Quote
Flame Spirit Posted March 31, 2013 Author Posted March 31, 2013 Thank you, I took screen shots of my inventory as backup and tped myself to the overworld. Lesson learned, don't put more than a couple dense ore symbols on a world :) Quote
Maxis010 Posted March 31, 2013 Posted March 31, 2013 An alternative is to follow ned's advice as far as making a server, but enter "gamerule keepInventory true" then kill yourself, keepInventory controls if your items drop on death Quote
Discord Moderator plowmanplow Posted March 31, 2013 Discord Moderator Posted March 31, 2013 One can also take your playername.dat file, edit it and change the "Dimension" property to 0 (zero). Quote
