downgrading tekkit server

Has anyone patched to 1.0.6, and then gone back to 1.0.5? Any issues? What files did you change?

Why go back to 1.0.5? It would theoretically work, but you'd get extreme amounts of lag when someone's in the overworld or Mystcraft world.

1.0.6 update has BC pipe issues, less items, and other issues. 1.0.5 was good except for some graphical glitches. I run a server and was wondering if I could just swap the new mod files out and put the old ones back in, hoping to fix the BC pipes and such.

Nothing. You might get a warning when you load one of your old worlds, but that's due to differing versions.

For me, some blocks/items are not in the NEI in-game recipe list anymore. There used to be like 22 pages in 1.0.5, but in 1.0.6 I'm seeing 11 pages. Specifically, I recall being able to saw blocks into slab and panels and all of them being shown in the list.

I remember in Tekkit Classic , the items from the Iron Chest mod would should up in NEI, but when you click on them the recipes for them would not show up. There's always the FTB / Tekkit Lite Wikis , I have found for some things the FTB wiki has more info.

All of the micro blocks were pulled from NEI, but still exist as recipes. I believe you can enabled the recipes if you need to see how to make a specific micro block.

Ah, I see. How would I go about enabling the micro blocks?

They were turned off in NEI because of how annoying it is to scroll through all those pages i think. But if you want it back on go to File: "(YourServerDirectory)/config/immibis-microblocks.cfg" and "enableNEI: false" set it to true
