When is bigdig getting updated

keep getting all the text saying this version available etc , its quite annoying lol

When all the mods are 1.5.x compatible. You might consider checking mod forums and other sources to see what mods are compatible and which are not.

Never. That would require RP2, IC2, and the other handful of 1.4.X mods to get updated to 1.5.X. RP2 and IC2 are taking their sweet time to update, to the point that it's unlikely that they ever will, but a shit storm would rain down on these forums if either of them were removed, so much so that I doubt CanVox - or whoever is currently maintaining this pack - would want to put up with it.

Alternatively BigDig could fork, with a version that drops outdated mods in favor of trying to stay relatively up-to-date with Minecraft, but I don't know if that would ever happen.

me and configs does not go well, its like gasoline and fire, dont put them togther lol

It's really simple, just open up the config file (for example 'AppliedEnergistics.cfg') and look for a line that says something along the lines of

B:enableVersionChecker=true

and change from true to false. You shouldn't get any more nag from AE after that; just rinse and repeat.
