Nether explosions

[Jetblast]

Entered the nether in peaceful mode and while doing some mining there are random explosions. Any ideas?

Tip: Use a destruction catalyst or the upgrade to mine the ores, that way they dont explode.

Anyone else have trouble smelting the tin ore?

Trash it and spawn yourself a new one.

If you mine an ore that's going to explode, it won't function correctly as a smeltable ore.

Possibly that it reads the redpower tin /, hence you won't be able to smelt them back to tin / ....

At least thats what seemed like the issue I had... had two piles of tin, one industrial, the other one apparantly redpower.

So couldn't smelt them to the usual stuff again.
