Any reason you randomly quoted him?

In your pack folder there will be a file called forgemodloader-client.log

Copy and paste that to pastebin

where do you find the pack folder and paste bin (I use mac)

where do you find the pack folder and paste bin (I use mac)

Q. Where is my Technic Launcher folder?

A. The default locations are as follows:

Windows: C:Users"User Name"%AppData%Roaming.technic

Mac: "User Name"LibraryApplication Supporttechnic

The folders may be hidden, so make sure to make hidden folders visible in your systems settings.

Google will tell you how.

It's helpful to read Common Problems sticky. You click on .techniclauncher folder, then click on the modpack you tried to launch. The forgemodloader is a textdocument in there, use the latest.

As for what is paste bin...

Please be aware of THIS.

It's happening with all packs, unless you want him to make the same post in every packs forum, he's in the right place, it appears to be a launcher issue

Not following what this does, any more ways to help?

The fix is really easy.

1) Create a folder on your desktop and put your TechnicLauncher inside

2) Create a new text edit file and paste this into it

export JAVA_HOME=/System/Library/Frameworks/JavaVM.framework/Versions/1.6/Home

java -Xmx1024M -Xms1024M -jar ~/Desktop/[FILE NAME GOES HERE]/TechnicLauncher.jar

3) Make the file plaintext (Under format)

4) Save the file as TechnicRun.command

5) Open terminal and type

chmod a+x

Do not press enter

4) drag the TechnicRun.command file into the terminal and press return.

5) PLAY AND HAVE FUN!

This solution evaded me for the longest time. Please please please pass it on to anyone else who is having problems with a mac. It is a hell of a lot easier than trying to downgrade java manually.

Hope this helps!

Yes change [FILE NAME GOES HERE] to the name of the folder that you put the TechnicLauncher.jar into -> which will be the new folder that you made on your desktop.
