Voxel
I want the ore spawn rates in tekkit, and other modpacks to be like they are in the Big Dig pack. How do I do this? Update: Editing the world.config in the config/cofh to the same as it is in big dig doesn't seem to change anything! Why?
weirleader
I don't know about the vanilla ores, but I imagine you could change the NumClusters value in the ThermalExpansion.cfg file (in config/cofh).

After some exploring I found that I can change all of the ore spawns including vanilla in the world.cfg
Dewfire
It will only change in newly generated worlds, chuncks etc.
Voxel
It will only change in newly generated worlds, chuncks etc. I know. I generated a new world each time I changed something. No effect.
Vivacity
It will only change in newly generated worlds, chuncks etc. Not necessarily, turning on retroactive generation will generate ores in old chunks.
Jebussz
Not necessarily, turning on retroactive generation will generate ores in old chunks. Can you go more into detail on this? how does it not just re generate the old ores when it is on?
Vivacity
It you post your World.cfg I could show you exactly what to change. I'm on a cellular device.
