i keep trying to use the sphax purebdcraft hexxit patch but it doesnt work.

i followed the tutorial but it only patched the mod textures and kept the vannilla textures usiing default minecraft ones.

I think that patch is for the sphax purebdcraft texture pack. To turn it into a sphax hexxit texture pack.

It's not an issue with Sphax. It's an issue with what's he's doing.

Download the Vanilla pack from here:

http://bdcraft.net/download-bdcraft-texturepacks

Then download the patch and extract it to your original Vanilla pack

Not saying its an issue with Sphax, but if he's having problem with a Sphax texture pack or patch for the texture pack, maybe he should look to help from the community built to support it.

You did not complete the installation steps correctly.

Download the VANILLA (original) Sphax texture pack. Download the Hexxit Sphax pack. Open them side by side. Copy the Hexxit pack into the vanilla pack, replacing any files it asks about. Copy that new modified zip that is effectively both combined, into your texturepacks directory.

It works.

You are downloading the 1.5 version of the vanilla pack, correct?
