Teraku Posted August 13, 2013 Posted August 13, 2013 Is there any way to store items in an orderly fashion in Hexxit? Or should I take the Vanilla approach and make storage rooms filled with stacked double chests? Quote
weirleader Posted August 13, 2013 Posted August 13, 2013 I really like crates. They aren't great for finding specifics, so aren't necessarily what you're looking for, but for huge stacks of generic stuff (e.g., dirt, cobble, sand, etc.) I think they're fun to use. Quote
dwwojcik Posted August 13, 2013 Posted August 13, 2013 Yup. What I'd do is have a crate for cobble/sand/gravel/dirt/etc, a crate for wood, a crate for loot, and chests for supplies and materials. Quote
Teraku Posted August 13, 2013 Author Posted August 13, 2013 Ah, didn't even think of that. Thanks. Guess I'll be using crates for junk, and reinforced chests for everything else. Quote

That's pretty much what I've done. It's starting to get out of hand, so I'm storing random items in BiblioCraft shelves, tool racks, and cases for decorations. Bonus for using chests: you can create a lock and key, and even enchant the lock with different abilities. Quote
Teraku Posted August 14, 2013 Author Posted August 14, 2013 Locks aren't much use when you're playing cooperatively with 1 or 2 friends, let alone single player. Quote
