zelltron Posted November 7, 2013 Posted November 7, 2013 Looking forward to the newest updates from the various modders to work with MC1.7.2 but until then, is there a mod I can implement to give tekkit the 1.7.2 amplified terrain feels?
Timendainum Posted November 7, 2013 Posted November 7, 2013 Unfortunately not. There is a lot of changes from MC 1.5.2 to the modern 1.7.2, it seems like a lot of the modders are going to need a good amount of time to catch up.
zelltron Posted November 7, 2013 Author Posted November 7, 2013 Yeah that's what I figured, I just can't wait to fire up my launch pad inside a huge mountain range.
theprolo Posted November 7, 2013 Posted November 7, 2013 There are some good biome mods such as Biomes O Plenty and ExtraBiomesXL which might be what you're looking for.
zelltron Posted November 7, 2013 Author Posted November 7, 2013 There are some good biome mods such as Biomes O Plenty and ExtraBiomesXL which might be what you're looking for. I'll start there - and continue my search to diversify the technic launcher :)
dwwojcik Posted November 7, 2013 Posted November 7, 2013 You could probably find a Bukkit plugin to generate crazy terrain on a server.
zelltron Posted November 7, 2013 Author Posted November 7, 2013 That's a good idea, easier to setup too.
zelltron Posted November 8, 2013 Author Posted November 8, 2013 went ahead and added ExtraBiomesXL - this will keep me busy while I wait for 1.7.2 support.
AprilElyse Posted November 9, 2013 Posted November 9, 2013 What exactly does Amplified Terrain mean??
Lethosos Posted November 9, 2013 Posted November 9, 2013 I suggest loading, say, Biomes O' Plenty and go hunting for Highlands/Crags to give you an idea.
zelltron Posted November 9, 2013 Author Posted November 9, 2013 What exactly does Amplified Terrain mean?? New to Minecraft Vanilla 1.7.2 you can have more extreme mountains and valleys with more biomes and blocks etc. built in. I'm just on a hunt to quelm my excitement for tekkit to eventually support 1.7.2
