0 Valkon Posted April 15, 2012 Posted April 15, 2012 How many engines and what kind of engine are you hooking up?
0 Synthetica Posted April 15, 2012 Posted April 15, 2012 How many engines and what kind of engine are you hooking up? You know the answer: 1 or 2 redstone engines.
0 cereberus99 Posted April 15, 2012 Posted April 15, 2012 Not enough. I had something like 3 combustion engines to power it. Now I use an energy converter to change power from IC power to BC power and run that.

0 cereberus99 Posted April 15, 2012 Posted April 15, 2012 do you see a blue stream of power going to the quarry? I'm going to assume you have the right golden redstone pipes from the combustion engines to the quarry?

Yes there was power, and i also hooked them up directly to the quarry and that didn't work either
0 cereberus99 Posted April 16, 2012 Posted April 16, 2012 I imagine two combustion engines should be enough. I've always used 3. I had an issue with the markers where the combustion engines were cold and not providing enough power for the quarry build the frame but that also made my quarry disappear.

I figured that 2 is enough too, but i didn't use markers.
0 ZombieTwiglet Posted April 16, 2012 Posted April 16, 2012 Is the server using Towny or some other king of area protection? If it is you'll need to add the fake users to the ops list or give them the needed build/destroy perms or it'll do nothing. There are multiple threads on how to do this.
