Where would I report an exploit I found?

As the title says I recently discoved a fairly easy and exploitable dup bug in the pack. I know there is a bug tracker for this pack, but I really don't think reporting it there would be good as people would then know how to do it and exploit the heck out of it until the patch. So is there any other way I could report this without tons of people seeing it?

That's what I'm trying to avoid using. If I explain the bug there then everyone can read it and will exploit it.

Honestly, security through obscurity is seldom a good choice. The information will get out there and the only people who will know about it are the people who like to exploit this kind of stuff. TekkitLite still has many dupe bugs that were never fixed and anyone wanting to run a server has to scramble all over looking for what they need to ban/block.

 

The more people who know about these, the more pressure is put on folks to fix them, and the more server owners can mitigate the impact until a fix shows up (if it ever does).

Seems I didnt finish my post, was going to suggest what Munaus said. Not sure what happened there, I should probably do the same -- I'm aware of a dupe glitch in the Furniture Mod that I found on my Pixelmon server.

Yeah, this is quite frustrating as a server owner. I know that folks are duping. Thankfully most of them are idiots and dupe like CRAZY so they are easily caught, but since I don't know what to look for or block/ban or where to go to find that information I'm kind of hosed. Better access to information would at lease help me mitigate this.
