Goldman60
So I include a custom resourcepack in the "resourcepacks" folder and it is selectable in the options menu. Is there any way to force new downloads of my modpack to launch with that resourcepack already selected? I want them to see the custom splash screen and menu on first launch, if its something other than a resource pack I need to accomplish this I would appreciate some pointing in the right direction. Goldman60
Simply include the options.txt file into the modpack zip (make sure the resource pack is selected on your client) I knew it would be something stupid easy that I wasn't thinking of, thanks for the help! naemr
The only downside to this method, is, if/when you make any updates to the pack, any options each user has put into place (key bindings, video, volume) will be overwritten with your settings, so use with care
Amaxter
True about how it resets options, but on the upside you dc can also set custom key bindings to avoid control conflicts.
