Auto-killing the Wither

How are you farming the wither skulls to power this? Every time I've tried to capture one in a safari net I've onl ended up with standard skeletons.

you need to either run the Auto-Spawner in a nether fortress, or select the "spawn exact copy" option. I've farmed for skulls that way

You need the MFR auto-spawner to spawn exact copies Wither skellies are basically normal ones but a bit different.

I've not tried since we reset the world for 1.6 but I'm pretty sure I tried that but still got standard skeletons. Guess I'll put that on my to do list for things to try again.

I remember reading that a bunch of iron golems can kill the Wither. Not tried it myself yet.

Other than that, I like to use iron spikes on sticky pistons to make spike traps. Works basically like suffocating mobs with solid blocks, but the spikes function a little differently. Maybe they can do something against the Wither.

I have used 6 Iron Golems to kill the Wither. They do a really good job to. Just make sure you do it at bedrock.
