veryance Posted March 14, 2014 Share Posted March 14, 2014 Hi guys, been playing FTB for a while because I missed IC2, but I'm leaning towards coming back to tekkit cuz I like galacticraft. GenPage Posted March 14, 2014 Share Posted March 14, 2014 Not at the moment. Feel free to try Tekkit Lite or Tekkit Classic. I believe those still have IC2. SemiPr0 Posted March 15, 2014 Share Posted March 15, 2014 IC2 is a good old mod, theres no denying that, but Thermal Expansion more than fills that gap quite well, I have a fairly simple tutorial on my YT channel about how adapting to TE from an IC2 mindset is kind of a stumbling block for some people, and show why its pretty much just as easy. Granted TE doesn't offer as many power generation capabilities as IC2, but there are good alternatives that work fantastically with TE in the current Tekkit...though I still think Mekanism definitely has a place the current Tekkit and always have..but largely I can also understand why its not there as some of its power generation capabilities preclude the need to go into more complex systems like Atomic Science almost entirely.
