Melfice
How much RAM have you actually assigned to the launcher? Click the gear in the top right, and there will be an option. Assign two or three gigs, and you should be good.
mrcoolassassin
I have the same problem but when I click on the gear, I can't go above 1gb. How do I increase the memory?

Moderators Munaus Posted April 8, 2014 Moderators Share Posted April 8, 2014 If further issues arise, post in the Tracker. Read and follow the >Tracker Rules and Guidelines. If you have a 64-bit OS then get the java 64-bit. A 32-bit java or OS will limit the RAM allowance to 1gig for the launcher. Most modpacks can run fine with 1-2 gig. Huge modpacks like B-team require 2-3gig. Locking this since OP should've posted this in the Tracker
