Who are the owners?
 
We’re a couple who love playing games together (Matty & Netty), we started out playing a few first person shooters then Netty heard about Minecraft on the 360, This was where Netty's obsession with Minecraft began.. I'll admit that I never really liked the game as I could never get into it, there just wasn’t anything drawing me to it but as Netty loved it I used to put up with playing it. Then we bought our XBox ones with the intent of getting Minecraft but the wait was too long for Netty so she convinced me to buy a laptop to play so we could play on the PC. This is where we sold our souls as we haven’t even touched our XBoxs since getting Minecraft and I actually really started to enjoy playing the game as the game was so much better and it was a lot more than just building in a single player game. After a while on a vanilla server we decided we wanted to try something new so when we heard about Attack of the B-Team we fell in love with the mod as there was just so much to do but we just couldn’t find a server or community that we liked so we had to make a choice.
 
What is our goal?
 
In the end we chose to start our own server with a vision to have a great community where everyone who plays on the server enjoys their time and always wants to come back as we noticed a lot of servers where the staff just didn’t care about the community as long as the server had enough players. We don’t just want to have the best servers but the best community run by players for the players as we're on playing all the time as well. This isn’t some server run by a 14 year old, I can safely say we offer a fair, stable and enjoyable experience although we’re starting out small it has to start somewhere and we can’t grow without you so I encourage you to be part of this at the beginning. We only have one server at the moment but once we’re in the right place we want to offer as much as possible for everyone so you can always try something new if you fancy a change or just want a little break from the norm. 
 
What does the Server currently offer?
 
We currently have an Attack of the B-Team server which has a wide array of plugins to offer support for your protected areas, PvP, Ranks, Economy and all the stuff you’d expect a good server to have. We’ve even spent tireless hours working on the auction plugin so it’s fully compatible with ATOB as currently on most servers they don’t register the mods items but ours does!
Nemalands is an open server, you don't need to apply, just join and play!

We are a PVP/Griefing Server with Towny. You can protect your belongings by creating/joining a town
or locking your chests with signs. Griefing whole chunks, greifing with water or lava, or using
exploits to override protective measures is not allowed.
Use of hacked clients, cheats, xray mods and similar will result in a ban.
Moderate language and swearing is allowed in chat, but please do not offend other players.

Currently we've disabled Arcimedes ships due to it not functioning correctly and causing a whole host of issues with players accounts. Other than that we've only banned the following items.

Nemalands runs plugins that help us find anyone trying to break the rules or grief where they
shouldn't be, and if unfortunately your belongings happen to be affected we will just roll them back for you
so you don't need to worry about other players ruining your fun!
As mentioned above, we have Towny along with an economy and fully AOTB compatible auction plugin so that you can easily
earn enough money to keep your town going! You can also sell and buy items at the spawn shop, and
receive extra in-game items as well as money and ranks for voting for our server!

Hello everyone!
 
Nemalands' first week!
It has almost been a week since the server launched,
so I would like to use this opportunity to thank all of you who joined us during this time!
I hope you think the launch went smoothly, and that you haven't had too many problems
while on our server. Let me assure you that now that most of the plugins have been
set up and fully tested, there will be little restarts or server downtime!
With that in mind, the server has to go down for a back up for no more than 10 minutes at least 
once every week, so if you could comment with suggestions for the most suitable time so that
little or none of you will be affected by this downtime :)
 
For those of you having problems with not receiving in game money for voting,
it is caused by the fact that you need to redeem your points in our Donation Store
therefore getting a choice of available items.
We will also be adding more items this weekend, such as a smeltery kit and player heads!
 
I hope you're all enjoying our server and you will stay with us for as long as you can!

mattymaats here :D Last night we upgraded the server to a dedicated machine to ensure a stable server that can cope with the growing amount of players. We also have a discount on all donations in the shop until the 12th to celebrate the server update.

Hi guys!

 

We've recently had some issues with our host so we've moved to a new host and in the process upgraded the server to a 32Gb dedicated machine :D This not only means the server runs a million times smoother but we will have the potential to host a few more servers once the AOTB server is all sorted. I hope you enjoy the new server and look forward to seeing you in game :)

We're going to have an Easter building competition! We want to see who can build the prettiest Easter egg! So gather your materials and summon those necro minions! Nemalands has been updated to the newest stable version of Attack of the B-Team which at this point in time is 1.0.10b. Make sure you have updated your launcher so that you can connect to our server. Everything should be exactly how you left it, although if you notice any errors please notify a member of staff. In case you didn't know what has been changed/added, this is the changelog from the Technic website:

We have remove Flans currently as it by passes the protection plugins and the PVP safe zones such as spawn, it is under testing and we're hoping to have it back on the server this weekend. We haven't banned a "crap ton" of other things, every item that has been removed is for a reason such as either crashing the server or bypassing pvp/protection areas. Not one item has been removed without reason and we do our best to keep as much in the game as possible but some items just aren't suitable for SMP servers. We're not ruining your fun as there's still a hell of a lot to do and compared to other servers who outright remove whole mods such as Witchery I think we're doing pretty well and offer a great experience to our players. We're always open to constructive suggestions to improve our server as we want everyone to have a great experience.

Just to let you know after testing and configuring we have put Flans Guns back on the server as I know a lot of you have been wanting it! So prepare for some gang warfare and remember not to bring a sword to gun fight  :laugh:

Unlike a lot of servers this one has very devoted and helpful owners and staff. It is a very friendly server where you can just have fun! The banned items are only banned for reasons such as duping, server crashes, and grief protection bypassing. The users are very friendly, the voting system is very unique as well as the protections system. I think running towny side by side with GP is a great idea. It allows those who want a lot of in game friends to buddy up with them to have their buddies, and those who don't trust others to remain a loner/with only a few trusted. It's really a server built for everyone, and it has a wonderful community. You better believe this is THE SERVER to play on. Don't believe me? Get on and try it for yourself today! ^_^
