EVERYTHING) and people cant connect. my brother who is a computer programmer was stumped. The normal minecraft server works and allows people to connect, but not technic. Idk what to do. Make sure their client is up to date, make sure their Java is up to date (Java 7). Also make sure their minecraft is not being blocked by their firewall. Jacsebalon Posted April 24, 2012 Share Posted April 24, 2012 I'm unsure from your original post, but it sounds to me like you updated to Tekkit 3.0. If that is indeed the case, that's your problem right there. The server is designed for Tekkit 2.1.1. Go back to the recommended build (and tell your friends to as well) and everything should work. BloodravenD Posted April 25, 2012 Share Posted April 25, 2012 the problem is with other people, they might not have the right java...Make sure whoever is trying to connect is using only the recommended build of tekkit, grab the tekkit files, and set the server up. Port issues is my guess, either that or people are using the wrong version and trying to connect, but yeah, we've got no information to use to help you here.
