1. Why did yellow symbols surround me? A curse, which kind?

Yellow symbols?

You can see any current effects on you in your inventory screen, it's hard to see if you're in creative mode (the NEI interface gets in the way) but in survival or multiplayer it's pretty easy.

 

Did you sleep under/near a dreamcatcher maybe?  Walk in some light blue water?  Could be a lot of things.

well... I did go in some light blue water but that was like 1 or 2 hours ago... and I never slept. A curse? I had no effects though :/ crystal ball? Also, the water was in a different server.

yes yellow symbols, in a cone shape. I think it was a curse because it had yellow symbols.

I got one idea, it is that someone teleported to me by using Witchery. I really need to get particles on...
