1.7.2 Mod pack crash report

Hello, Im trying to set up a vanilla modpack then add mods as I see fit, Im using minecraft forge 1.7.2 recommanded version, I've compiled the modpack with the 3 folders of bin / config / mods, in the bin folder I have the modpack.jar (minecraft forge), but I get the below error when I try and download and run the modpack from tekkit launcher, any help would be appricated.

Actually this might not even be an issue with the mod pack, even my vanilla MC with Tekkit is crashing, with no know reason

Your pack archive has all the required folders inside of a subfolder called "modpack". This won't work. The archive needs to have all of the required folders in the top level of the directory structure.
