problem Classic not loading to Title Screen

I have been trying to play Tekkit Classic recently, and whenever I try to run it, the game will launch and come up with the Mojang screen, but it will not advance past this point. It does not crash, it simply freezes and then goes gray after a short while. 

 

I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the Technic Launcher but this has yielded no results. If anyone could help me out here that would be greatly appreciated!
