_Clannad Posted August 29, 2014 Posted August 29, 2014 2014-08-29 02:46:01 [sEVERE] [ForgeModLoader] There is a binary discrepency between the expected input class aa (aa) and the actual class. Checksum on disk is b8704f9b, in patch c7e1682c. Things are probably about to go very wrong. Did you put something into the jar file? This happens then the launcher will reopen anyone have any idea im not so good with all this stuff. http://www.technicpa...nclannad.468823 thats my modpack http://pastebin.com/jfzhqMeE the ram has been lowred to 3 gb
_Clannad Posted August 30, 2014 Author Posted August 30, 2014 (edited) None can Help? Edited August 30, 2014 by _Clannad
Discord Moderator plowmanplow Posted August 30, 2014 Discord Moderator Posted August 30, 2014 Someone will assist you when and if they can. Bumping your thread doesn't help. I know that, for myself, I always start with the oldest threads and work up when responding and if I run out of time I don't get to the top so bumping your thread may be counterproductive for you. Your download URL set in your pack is not a direct link. You need to add "?download=1" (without quotes) to the URL. Your binmodpack.jar file is incorrect. The modpack.jar file is simply the correct version of the Forge universal binary JAR downloaded and renamed to modpack.jar. You have an outdated version of Forge for 1.6.4 with extra stuff in it as your modpack.jar. This must be fixed. You have Bukkit plugins (Essentials) in your mods folder. These should be removed. You have a bspkrsCore file in both the mods folder and the mods1.7.10 folder. This mod belongs only in the 1.7.10 folder and should never have duplicates.
_Clannad Posted August 30, 2014 Author Posted August 30, 2014 (edited) yh i said that because i was getting help on a other thread until it got rejected by staff for reasons unkown, i only say that becaus e many people with this issue have either been moved to different locations or rejected. would you talk me through some of this? Mainly the url and the forge Edited August 30, 2014 by _Clannad
Valkon Posted August 30, 2014 Posted August 30, 2014 i was getting help on a other thread until it got rejected by staff for reasons unkown Yes, unknown reasons. Unknown reasons which said staff member told you in the post he put on your report before rejecting it.
_Clannad Posted August 30, 2014 Author Posted August 30, 2014 he did not give much help at all and this entire forum section is not much help if im honest as the staff keep leading people away to a diff forum or rejecting it in which case the question is still left un answered when the people get help is then gets rejected instead of moved which would of been easier i just want to slve this problem and not have to deal with Kids raging because its in wrong place. P.S i am dyslexic so dont point out the spelling errors i know there are loads.
_Clannad Posted August 31, 2014 Author Posted August 31, 2014 Why give me a warning when that issue could have solved mine i was purly asking if it would i was not hijacking another thread, i dont believe this deserves a warning as i was only asking a question can you please explain how i was hijacking even though it seemed to be the same issue as my thread ? Aimed at ValkonX11
Valkon Posted August 31, 2014 Posted August 31, 2014 Posting in someone else's tracker thread to try to get help for your problem is generally considered threadjacking, even if the problems are very similar (not going to say the same because more likely than not they are not the exact same problem).
_Clannad Posted August 31, 2014 Author Posted August 31, 2014 But i was just thinkng maybe it could solve my problem that is not hijackin, it is just being open minded and looking for all options not just one, which is considered being smart and not hijacking like a terrorist/
_Clannad Posted August 31, 2014 Author Posted August 31, 2014 But anyway this is not debate on how to do warnings, im trying to get my modpack sorted.
Kalbintion Posted August 31, 2014 Posted August 31, 2014 (edited) · Hidden by Munaus, August 31, 2014 - not helpful Hidden by Munaus, August 31, 2014 - not helpful yh i said that because i was getting help on a other thread until it got rejected by staff for reasons unkown, i only say that becaus e many people with this issue have either been moved to different locations or rejected. Reasons unknown? You may want to look at your tracker report again: http://forums.technicpack.net/tracker/issue-3534-technic-launch-then-close/ It clearly stated by myself, twice, that custom modpack issues belong in this section. You continued to ignore that then posted again and got warned by Munaus. he did not give much help at all and this entire forum section is not much help if im honest as the staff keep leading people away to a diff forum or rejecting it... No help was given because of the above mentioned reason of why your tracker report was rejected to begin with. Oh btw, I'm not a part of the site staff, so don't include me in that if you thought I was otherwise. ... would you talk me through some of this? Mainly the url ... What specifically were you having issues understanding? The URL you have now is incorrect, you need to attach that portion to the end of it like plow mentioned in order for it to be a direct link. Otherwise the modpack will never successfully download for others on the launcher. Edited August 31, 2014 by Kalbintion
Discord Moderator plowmanplow Posted August 31, 2014 Discord Moderator Posted August 31, 2014 Your download URL has been fixed correctly. Good job on that part. Your modpack.jar file is still messed up, please reexamine my previous post. You still have Bukkit plugins in your mods folder (GriefPrevention, JustWarp). Bukkit plugins don't go in the mods folder, and they never go in the client at all. Address these issues and come back here if you still have problems.
_Clannad Posted August 31, 2014 Author Posted August 31, 2014 ok i understand that i willg et them fixed i dont understand the modpack.jar. Errrmm kalbinition i came here to solve a problem not have people argue at me so please be respectful and if your not gna help dont help at all.
Kalbintion Posted August 31, 2014 Posted August 31, 2014 I did attempt to help, _Clannad. And even had help (question rather for assisting) associated in that post of mine that is now gone.
_Clannad Posted August 31, 2014 Author Posted August 31, 2014 Ok then kalbination so Plow when you get a chance if you could get back to me and explaint he modpack.jar that will help .
Kalbintion Posted August 31, 2014 Posted August 31, 2014 (edited) Your binmodpack.jar file is incorrect. The modpack.jar file is simply the correct version of the Forge universal binary JAR downloaded and renamed to modpack.jar. You have an outdated version of Forge for 1.6.4 with extra stuff in it as your modpack.jar. This must be fixed. This simply means you need to start over on the modpack jar file. Go to the FML site and download the FML Edit: universal version necessary for the modpack, and rename the jar file downloaded to modpack.jar and put it into the bin folder. Ensure you do not add anything to this jar file. Edited August 31, 2014 by Kalbintion
_Clannad Posted August 31, 2014 Author Posted August 31, 2014 which version i downloaded the installer and just used that do i need to download the universal version and then what do i do with that?
Kalbintion Posted August 31, 2014 Posted August 31, 2014 You only need the universal version. You will only download that jar then rename the file to modpack.jar - then you put it into the bin folder. That is all that needs to be done for that.
_Clannad Posted August 31, 2014 Author Posted August 31, 2014 http://www.technicpack.net/api/modpack/pixelmonclannad Anyone be good to look at this i sorted everything out even the modpack.jar.
Kalbintion Posted August 31, 2014 Posted August 31, 2014 Are you still experiencing an issue with it?
_Clannad Posted August 31, 2014 Author Posted August 31, 2014 says consult modpack author when i press play
