Cant make Stone Rods

Says it all in the title really, cant make stone rods and it gets fustrating now, im aware that to making the stone rods and stone tool rods is the same so i can make as many stone tool rods as i want, just no bloody stone rods, im also new at AOTB so yh. Thanks for your time

you know you need to use the smooth stone and not cobble stone?

Hmmm strange. Normal stone rods use two smoothstone which are aligned like planks for making sticks.

 

Or are we talking stone tool rods here? You will need smooth stone as well. Put the appropriate stencil into the part builder and grab the rod from there. I think the material cost is one, so it shouldn't create shards. If it does you have to remove those as well.

Nope im on about the Stone rods, still cant get it to work

It appears the two of them are interchangeable in any recipe, so... just use the stone tool rods.

Its weird. I just tested it today. Two smoothstone in the craftgrid above each other give me stone rods. Running fine on the current recommended (12)

Ah, this may be a "latest" issue then.

Anyway, NEI says that you can use stone tool rods for anything you'd use stone rods for, so it's really a non-issue.

two smoothstone still dont work however i tried to use the stone tool rods again today replacing the stone rods and it works despite trying this in the past anyway thanks for everyones help, its much appreciated
