I came to this modpack through yogbox and i tried to install it(since this is my 1st mod i went on somthing that auto installs) and after i started the launcher and it finished nothing happend to my minecraft or anything everything stayed the same sooooo... what do i do to make it work?

Launcher doesn't work on cracked Minecraft versions I think.

In order for the launcher to not violate Mojangs TOS you need a legit mc copy to use it. The only other way we could make it a one button install is by passing out a pirated Version of Minecraft to thousands of people every time they downloaded a pack. You can imagine we don't want to do that. If you want to use mod packs and have things be easy, you'll just have to buy the game. Free or easy. Your choice. We don't care which.

It is good. Why can't you buy it? If you're young you could ask your parents or something. Or you can use paypal if you don't have a credit card.

Admittedly, It costs more money then it should because notch turned into a greedy asshole. Not impossible to save up or do some work/chores and get it quick though.

Exactly same here. It took me FOREVER to convince my dad xD Maybe it helps to tell him that millions of people have bought it?

he has reason to be scared of paypal. They have no regulations because they aren't a bank, so you have very little protection and they can do more or less whatever they want. It's fine for small amounts of money, but I would never willingly use paypal for any larger transactions. (unfortunately I have to)

Can't your dad just use his credit card to directly buy MC for you, instead of going through paypal then?

If it helps, there is no banks I know of that don't protect their users from theft. Any unauthorized withdrawls through a credit card are extremely easy to reverse with one phone call to the bank.

But many people buy Minecraft using PayPal. Wouldn't that show that PayPal is pretty safe as well?

Also there was another suggestion, using a Visa prepaid card. And that's actually recommended for teenagers.
