Bug - Non-Vanilla items Won't Craft

jerrbear616

Question

Launcher/pack Version:1.0.1.3/3.0.3

Operating System: 64-bit Windows 7

Version of Java: 7

Description of Problem: When players (including ops) attempt to create any item from a crafting table that is not available in vanilla, the ending item appears briefly and disappears. Even if able to quickly click on the item and bring to inventory, the item appears in the inventory briefly, and then reverts to it's ingredients.

Plug-ins installed:

Essentials 2.9.1 + Group Manager

World Edit 5.3

Error Messages: No Error Messages. All mods and plugins appear to be loaded correctly. Here's a trimmed log message containing the time between past two shutdowns.

I can confirm that issuing a [tt]/reload[/tt] command will cause all mod items to be uncraftable until the server is hard-restarted. This includes RedPower2 items, Buildcraft items, and IndustrialCraft2 items. It also happens even if all Bukkit plugins are disabled (including PermissionsBukkit). It does not matter if a player is a regular user or an OP.

(Tekkit 3.0.3.)

Again. No reason you should ever be using /reload.

@sct: What exactly is the [tt]/reload[/tt] command intended for? (Serious question.) I've been using it to quickly reload Bukkit plugin config files.

[list type=decimal]

[li]Is it standard operating procedure to hard-restart the server to reload config files?[/li]

[li]Are mod items expected to become uncraftable after a [tt]/reload[/tt], or is this a bug?[/li]
