  • Your modpack.jar file is named "modpack.jar.jar". Google "windows explorer always show file extensions" to learn how to prevent this.
  • You have no config files in your modpack archive. This is always bad. Config files provide a way to ensure balance between mods and to tweak things to your liking.
  • You have Mekanism for 1.7.10 in your 1.7.2 modpack. This won't work.

Thanks for the reply plowman
i will fix the modpack.jar but i don't have the skills to tweak anything in the mods, meaning i don't really have a need for the configs. I don't know how to create them either. I also couldn't find the legacy versions of mekanism and thought that the 1.7.10 would be fine.
Anyway I'll fix the modpack.jar and look for the legacy versions
Thanks

There is no 1.7.2 version of Mekanism. It went directly from 1.6.4 to 1.7.10. If you are building a modpack now, building it for 1.7.10 is almost always the right way to go.
