  1. Tekkit steals parts of your soul, macerates it into small boxes, and sells it to a creepy asian guy on Craigslist.
  2. Noted, thanks for that. I'll add it to my troubleshooting toolbox :D
  3. The launcher only recently came out of beta, which is the version you were using.
  4. Try using the .jar
  5. Very nicely done! But can you have something pick all of the pipes up for extra troll factor?
  6. Arse, can't believe I missed that -.- You're using an out of date launcher. Good day. Oh, and Phoenix? You're an ass. You don't get a good day from me.
  7. I never really consider things 'necro' unless the offending post has nothing to add.
  8. Guys, can you stop shitting on this guy? It's been a while since he started this post, and I've been the only one helping him, and my knowledge of Java is limited. You all should know better. Tethering your computer will solve nothing. Cabling will give it faster speeds, but will not solve the problem at hand. Now, upon further review of past cases, it really seems like random as to which 'common sense fix' works. All I can suggest now is that you either rage because I tell you you're inept, and go through every single fix on the Common Problems thread, or you re-install your OS. I have not found a genuine fix for your problem across dozens of similar errors.
  9. Threadjacking is bad. This is a different problem. Bad.
  10. You have tried the .jar, haven't you..?
  11. Ah, no. I say acts like it's mass has been removed. Say if you began accelerating a graphite pencil from 0 to c, would it actually get bigger? The field, which you are correct in saying hasn't been proved yet, but CERN could change that, would create an entirely new space where this is possible. Then we could all fuck off at faster than the speed of light to wherever we wanted to, in our bubble of human engineered space. It's like a middle finger to the laws of physics.
  12. Oooh, I'm being a total fool. That update is really new. Lemme have some dinner, and I'll be right back.
  13. Can I make a radical suggestion? Use the correct version of Hack/Mine.
  14. Would've been great tv... gosh guise, at least wait for the cameras sheesh
  15. Notice that I said small server.
  16. ...I'm so unbelievably confused... Can't you just find a small whitelisted server? There's bloody loads of them.
  17. Update Java to Java7u6, and get a fresh copy of the launcher.
  18. It's bundles with Forge, but as I said, you probably have mismatched versions, or a beta of Forestry. I'm afraid I can't be of any more help here.
  19. Nuh, uh. The latest is J7u6, fool. http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/javase/downloads/index.html Have fun.
  20. The ore dictionary is there for cross compatibility between mods like Industrialcraft, RedPower and Forestry, that use similar ores like copper or tin.
  21. Wow, there'll be nothing left by the time I join...
  22. I'd actually recommend a plugin that removes drops once it reaches over 200 in any given chunk. Can't remember what it's called though.
  23. Unsupported major.minor means you are using an out of date version of Java, and Nether ores is not amused with that. Go and grab the latest version of JRE off the Technic front page.
  24. Eh, the ore dictionary should handle that. Check that the versions of Forge and Forestry match up. Also, if you are using the Forestry 3 beta, things could be messed up in that regard.
  25. That is obscene. If you use host elsewhere, go change to a different service. Average per player should be 0.3Mb/s up and down. Feel free to challenge that folks, I no longer host a server.
