I'm just curious as to how the space station being griefed surmounted to total loss. All I remember being up there were the reactor, an ice machine, a cobble generator, some chests that are mostly intact, some beds, some crops and two railcraft thingys. Plus, Warp don't want a reset. I heard they were making an entirely new mobile base. Which I shall destroy with my airship in due course.

The map is stable now, and I seriously protest a map reset. In all honesty, Blobture has the resources to get back on their feet in no time. Plus, while their base was cool, it looked horribly inconvenient to use (and was half empty) However, I think Warptech needs a restart. Fresh leadership, new name, new location. I hardly ever see any of them online.

I'm still waiting for an answer as to why it's called 'The Whale Box'.

I just can't help but see sunshine and rainbows over the broken bridge, that only need be repaired by not even an apology, but just a backtrack on Sengir's decision. As much as what's done is done, and we should drop it, it still astounds me that no one is really seeing sense in the matter, and all it needs is a leap of faith. I mean, really, in whose interest is it to gripe about having your mod in any pack, or to deny them access to the source code or anything like that (or attack a large portion of your fanbase), save for a modders precious ego and/or ad.fly pennies. It's stopped being about the reason the mod was created in the first place - delivering fun and quality content to we, the players. As I said before, if you make a mod, but don't want people to play it the way they want to (in this case a convenient, happy, non-maligned and supportive community) then they should not have made that mod.

Yes, but most servers have the decency to put their threads in the right place, and spend time and effort actually selling themselves. How can we really be sure that your server is the quality you say it is, if you can't be bothered to make a decent thread about it? (And in the right place)

Ditch that AVG nonsense and get a Man's Antivirus. Avast! will do the trick just fine. Then update Java, using the link on the Technicpack.net index page. Then download a new launcher, also from the front page. (And then make sure AVG is truly pounded into the ground)

Go away and put this server in the proper place. Besides, apart from shouting in the title, there's nothing eye catching about this whatsoever, so I'd never even play here anyway. What plugins do you have? What does your spawn look like? What do I get if I donate? Are there any cool builds?

Okay, fucknuggets, let's just put this guy out of his misery and be done with it. First thing to do is try direct connecting to the server in question. If that doesn't work, you need to open up your computer's command console, and type in these three lines. ipconfig /release ipconfig /flushdns ipconfig /renew If that doesn't work, then that means you have been screwing around with the FTP (It is actually your server, isn't it?)

I'm not sure that this discussion is at a point where one can wade in, so I shall simply give my unbiassed opinion. It's not a perfect world where everything's open source, and freely distributable, but if a modder doesn't want everyone to play their mod in the manner the player chooses, then it should not have been posted. Technic could put this in the pack, and has zero obligation (UK law here) to remove it, provided MightyPork can prove there has been actual loss on his part. I also have no obligation to not decompile the mod, or not post derivatives where I choose. (MCF or any other forums however have the right to remove it, based on their own ToS) However, the modders do have a right to know where their mod is distrbuted to, and it is illegal to redistribute for profit. Why you would not want your mod in any pack is beyond me, although I can understand that there is a possibility of people coming to you and whining for support of older versions is a problem (not a loss, though)

Huh, looks like you'll need a mixture of components for that. First one I can think of is an AND gate leading to a (3s)timer fed into a toggle latch. I'll let you know if I come across another solution and possibly put a screenshot up, but I'm on a phone right now :D
