Although I shall not be joining you, I would like to put forward a suggestion. Now that we are mostly back at school, with the temporary exception of any uni students, Andrew should start making a list of playing times and time zones so as to make sure company employees are on at mostly the same time during the week. I wanted M-Tech to have an anti-EE stance, but the tagalongs on the West Coast of the US I never saw thought otherwise, and built 50 HV-Solar Arrays in two bloody afternoons.

Not actually infinite, there's a server limit of... I can't remember, but I worked it out before my last post.

syncing game between two computers
The_DarthMoogle replied to Alum's topic in Tekkit Classic Discussion
Easiest thing to do would be to follow this tutorial http://forums.technicpack.net/threads/how-to-install-the-technic-launcher-on-a-usb-drive.6133/ but put it on the network drive instead. Aren't computers cool like that! Your saves will be there too! -
Risugami's Shelf & Armor Stand
The_DarthMoogle replied to tiederian's topic in Tekkit Classic Discussion
Always remember - be quite. Although I second these mods' inclusion, there's a time and a place for this. Not now, and in a different thread. Try searching for the proper suggestions thread, imagine if everybody created a new thread for every suggestion O_o -
Ooh! It's on Steam too... Expect a Moogle Reviews around sometime soon. :D

It will just be another box. Most people neglect the common problems and solutions thread, so that box may well just be filled with mostly "OMG deleted folder birrions of times don't work plz help" So if it's something that can't be diagnosed by a quick glance over the log, then that'll get linked by someone viewing the thread, and then waiting until the OP comes back either with a new log, or a thank-you-very-much.
-
There's a suggestions thread for things like this, and this has been suggested billions of times. So just sit back, relax, and be disappointed if we don't get it. :D

I'd cut back on the RAM to 16GB, meaning you can also just get Windows 7 Home Premium, (Only Ultimate works with more than 16GB) and invest in a GTX570. Although you can link two graphics cards together, the 570 alone is affordable and massively more powerful than your current option. EDIT : Just realised your current motherboard doesn't accept the two 470's anyway.

Cybersynacy. I have total control, without direct contact with the server population. And no one knows it.
-
I don't want to backseat mod, or say anything on the behalf of anyone else, but basically you smell and put it in the wrong forum. There's a suggestions thread.
-
Okay, after consulting with a brony working at IBM- You would need to do some serious cutting and pasting of bits of motherboard. Plus, running everything through the port 137 protocol as you would have to would mean that the speed increase across the systems would be negligible. Think of a quad core processor. It's the same thing, but they are right next to each other. Port 137 protocol wouldn't be able to match the motherboard speeds, even with the highest speed, largest bandwidth piece of cable in the world.

Aw get off it, it's waaaay more satisfying to manually build your logic. I have 64 bytes of memory under my house. I want to create a graphics package with RedPower lamps. :D

It appears you are behind a mysterious firewall. Check that anything and everything to do with Java, Technic, Spout, whatever, is not disallowed access to the interwebs.
-
Update Java to the version recommended by technicpack.net, then go and whine in a new thread.
-
Easiest thing to do is ditch the armour, build a Block Breaker and lever. And steal all of their shit.
-
At least bother to fill out the form correctly... sheesh. Well, it's irrelevant, because a gander to the "COMMON PROBLEMS AND SOLUTIONS"tm, should solve your problem

HELP - one player's base is killing my bandwidth
The_DarthMoogle replied to VideoBoy's topic in Server Op Swap Shop
I'm inclined to agree with Neowulf here - I almost killed myself laughing as you suggested that... There's billions of awesome hosting companies out there, and I hear on the vine that some specialise in Tekkit for no fathomable reason. Ask around your playerbase if things get a little daunting. -

The only reason I'm not selling my Xbox is for Halo 4. That's actually looking like the game that consoles deserve. As for the technic squad... dunno. I have a platoon sized outfit (1st British Bulldogs) on EU server 1, but I think that I'll make a thread once the game proper arrives around Christmas. -
Borderlands has an interesting art stlye, granted. But it's wasted on the locations and enemies. (Brown desolate corrugated industrial areas filled with hockey mask bandits and the odd bug) Numero dos looks batshit insane, in every sense of the phrase, and has some deep looking progression. It also has more guns, because number one definitely didn't have enough.[/sarcasm] Although it won't require you to be on a skilled team, grabbing some friends would be next to essential for epic sauce.

I cannot understate how important team play is. Also, the class is called Infiltrator is a reason, it's a stealth/recon class. Milling around as a lone sniper in the game's current form is pathetic due to the absolute necessity of combined arms combat. If you haven't got a dozen tanks in front of you, and total air superiority, you can't get away with shooting at an organised squad of infantry. -
That's just low. Go away.

Yeah, I remember using this a while back. Shame about the home license though :P
