  1. Britfag UK citizen here, not having any problems.
  2. What you need to do is Read all of the rules. All of them. Read all of the stickied threads. All of them. Submit a proper bug report, taking care to fill in all of the fields. All of them. And don't sign your posts. Your name is two freaking inches away. Good day.
  3. Hmm. Your user base isn't the largest, but depending on how old this server is, you're best recruiting from them, rather than grabbing any old asshat from here. Your interviews are not foolproof.
  4. Are we not worthy of instancing? That's my only complaint. Oh, and CryEngine3 is a pain to optimise to get consistency across a range of graphics cards I hear.
  5. Now that andrew has gone full asshat and gotten banned for an indiscriminate amount of time, shall we schimmy on over to our forum full time so we can keep in contact with him for admissions and other admin stuff?
  6. Yes, update was slightly the wrong word. Just add more stuff, provided it's up to scratch. Although some mods have updated within 1.2.5 Computercraft has done backdates as well for it's latest version, I heard. Can't be bothered to check it out, that'd be like effort and stuff.
  7. Although I'm on the agreement that many people are actually missing out because EE is the easy way out. I also recognise people can play how they damn well want. I just can't help but get the feeling that EE misses the criteria of being 'up to scratch', what with it being hugely imbalanced with the other mods, and there being very little people can do to change things like EMC values. Why that's not a feature for server owners is beyond me. If something is hugely imbalanced, I'm cool with it being in Technic, but if lots of servers and people that play almost exclusively online come over here and scream about it, then something's wrong. I hope EE3 changes that.
  8. So. Given the rate at which Mojang like screwing with us it looks like 1.2.5 will be the norm, at least for us, for a while yet. Which is a shame because there's an absa-bloody-normous thread here http://forums.technicpack.net/threads/technic-pack-suggestions-ahoy.1053/ with loads of stuff I look forward to seeing (and some stuff that's meh, for neutrality) But I wouldn't be surprised if things don't happen until the update after the API update (which in itself is being pushed back) So I ask that there be a big content update soon-ish. Let us see whether the things we want are up to scratch. Nivamai's already done the research into compatibility (and asshat licencing), so why we can't have nice things is beyond me Screw whether the worlds have to be blitzed and started again. We've got EE folks, it takes 6 hours to get back to creative mode. (To those that will inevitably be all "hurr durr install them urself" I play Tekkit on an awesome server with an inept admin. The whole point of this modpack is so we don't have to faff about with folders and shizz and I'm enormously grateful to the Technic Team for it)
  9. Eh, I never played them, thinking they were of the same vein as Ratchet & Clank. Which were some badass games.
  10. Whoa, chill. You gotta let go of that aggro. Upon seeing multiple cases of people genuinely not having any diamonds spawning, the only common denominator was the fact they were playing Tekkit singleplayer. These people would also be missing things like strongholds, villages and abandoned mineshafts. So just chill.
  11. This usually happens when you play Tekkit on singleplayer. Are you doing that?
  12. I have a request for a friend to be whitelisted. ForwardPie He will kill you all.
  13. Awesome idea, will try that out later :D
  14. Don't be a freak. I left a sign in the empty base next door in case it was he that got griefed instead of me, and apologised to him just to be sure. (In case he didn't move out on his own) Any other signs were not done by myself. Who turned out all the lights in here? EDIT : Interesting development : 18SparkS seems convinced it was you who destroyed his home... I was willing to extend an alliance to Quantum Industries and build a two way cargo rail link there. But nothing will happen until members of Quantum reel this kid in big time.
  15. OKAY! Please PM me if you want to join M-Tech. During the course of today, I will aggressively expand the base to accommodate you all. Express elevator and everything.
  16. You were never looted by me in the first place, but should we cross paths on the server, I'll build another wing for ya. I've started a second underground level, which Gavjenks and yourself can set up shop in. But alas, the servers are down, so no dice.
  17. Yes, of course. I'm building the new section right now, if you have the time to hop on. :D
  18. GTX 570 is an awesome piece of kit, and will chew through any game for the next five years, no doubt. OpenGl 4.2 / DX11 And it's awesomely priced for what's inside. What's actually letting me down is this awful hard drive. Don't know whether an SSD is really worth it though.
  19. 'Tis but a ruse. I want people to stumble upon that base, have it as a suitable working environment, look good, be reasonably safe etc... but people would have to try extremely hard to set me back to square one... Feel free to join M-Tech. I will start building a new area later today anyway.
  20. Please, enlighten us as to what you use :D
  21. M-Tech social experiment complete. Helping hand to Quantum against ACTUAL thieves may be extended upon review of other companies actions. I have arrived and will be accepting applications to M-Tech Corporation. I also extend a hand of peace to anyone smart enough to take it. EDIT : Gavjenks is a gigantic cheeky twat. That safe had all my glass panes in it.
  22. My issue is that bloody nobody knows who you are. Your reviews will mean absolutely nothing to the audience you intend to have. You can't get recognition out of nowhere; this is a hilariously bad place to start.

  24. My suggestion? Don't build a square castle. Figure out what you want each room for, and plan accordingly. Your machines and stuff should be elsewhere, so it's not a huge problem. As you build, start moving things across so you can get a feel for the place, and a better idea of what room should come next. (That'll also cut building time) Dynamic building couldn't be simpler. Just building a huge... thing sucks all the life out of it. It needs purpose in order to be awesome.
