  1. Although Oblivion still hadn't improved that awful combat and had about 12 voice actors, I definitely found that one the easiest to immerse myself in. And the main questline didn't suck eggs. (Though I can see why people had problems with all the Oblivion gates)
  2. Okay, update your graphics drivers, and update OpenGL, too. Also, delete your railcraft.dat file.
  3. Meh, everyone wears quantum armour anyways... so why complain? However, Alblaka is getting ready for a 'war update' that will nerf the armours and add tons of new weapons in.
  4. There's two tutorials in here that will aid you. http://forums.technicpack.net/threads/how-to-join-a-tekkit-server-at-school-or-work-windows.17774/ Have fun, but not too much fun.
  5. o__o Well, the Yogbox has nothing to do with us, for starters. But either you aren't carrying any fuel (coal, redstone, glowstone etc.) or the server you are playing on has banned the usage of it.
  6. Optifine isn't the problem. Try turning down the graphics (Fancy to Fast, lower the render distance etc.)
  7. If it's singleplayer Tekkit (which you shouldn't really do), then the block IDs used are the same, so it can be shifted across to your server.
  8. What you have shown is fine, so it must be something to do with the rest of the machine.
  9. I just put a world anchor on a frame machine that I'm just letting loose to mine shit while I sleep. If anyone gets on to find their house replaced with mining pipes, I'm truly sorry. EDIT : Don't worry about server load, I've set it up so it only moves once every minute, and doesn't move at all in the dark.
  10. Only because there's scathingly few details about it yet. I'm willing to bet the combat system isn't going to be the standard fare either. I played a [GW2] beta a while back, and I found things a lot more balanced than numero uno, like the quests were a heck of a lot more fleshed out and the main 'storyline' is pretty darn impressive for an MMO, and there a lot more powers are here for you to play with, but things are pretty much the same. I'm still going to wait to spend my money on Planetside. I know this is the wrong place, but it's too damn cool to stay in it's own thread :D
  11. All I can say is thank god they are releasing an update with some decent stuff in it for once. I wouldn't have said the vanilla game really changed since 1.1
  12. I recognise that now, but that may be unintentional. [sideways glance to sct]
  13. You need to look for any Buildcraft blueprints in the relevant folders, (dunno where they are lol) and delete them Although I'd ditch Lava and get Java :D
  14. I'd say this was a pretty idiot thread. But as a small suggestion, how about a cooldown timer once someone creates a new account so while they are unable to post, we can nudge them over to the stickies so they don't either- A - hijack someone else's thread for their inane question, or B - create a shitty thread with no relevant information for us to sort their problem. (I still primarily view this as a support forum, really)
  15. It's not a hugely strenuous thing to do if you have a small circle of friends on your server, just to make them dump their mods into the 'mods' folder... As long as you aren't adding fifty billion mods...
  16. Technic is SSP only, because the mods it contains are also SSP only. Things like Thaumcraft are not SMP at all. So what you will have to do is add the mods you want to the server manually, and have all of your players do the same. As for putting it in the launcher, nope. If you're that desperate you can make your own modpack :D
  17. Heyo everyone! I've tried to get on, but I'm no longer whitelisted!?!!? But for the next 6 hours, I'm racing, multi-talented that I am. I still hold the M-Tech name, by the way.
  18. FORTH is potentially a heck of a lot more compact and powerful than LUA, plus RedPower computers are seriously cool with all the extra stuff. Problem is, FORTH is a write-only language; you can't just look at it and go 'ooh, I know what's going on in there'.
  19. BT has had IPv6 since launch day in June. It'd be silly if they didn't because they actually own and maintain the entire UK infrastructure.
  20. every time i try to find peeple to help i find people liek U. The bug report format is mandatory, go and read ALL the stickies, and create a new thread accordingly.
  21. Do you mean 'non-premium'? (Gosh I hate saying that)
  22. Switch to BT, they basically give Sky internetz to then sell to you. (Unless you're in the US)
  23. Well, aside from a new thing, I might actually be getting a job after a four month hiatus. http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/hgtemplatestudios/chroma-0?ref=category Please give to these guys, so I can get paid because this game looks perfect for the Android :D
  24. It is in fact Sky that is not ready for IPv6, but they aren't admitting it. You are not alone.
  25. I'm massively unsure as to whether Chris was a bot or not...
