If it's for a server, there's a few plugins that will do it for you. Just google some bukkit plugins.

Head on over to the bug report forums. There's one for Tekkit, and Technic Launcher. Please use the correct one.
-
There's obviously something wrong with the rest or the sorting machine. The items don't have a correct place to go to. This end of it is fine 100%.

half blocks and pillars and what not removed?
Azeryn replied to fojaxx's topic in Tekkit Classic Discussion
1. This is the Tekkit forum, not Technic. 2. We have no clue which version you are using since you never mention it. 3. I can't tell you if a mod is in the game or not because I don't know which version you have. 4. Saws and half blocks are in Red Power 2 5. Red Power 2 is not updated for the 2 newest versions of Technic. 6. I just wanted to add another number. -
Wanting to start a new server

I would say your chances are pretty good. There's this generator that I know of that generates all that, hills, valleys, caves, etc. The first 1-5 layers will be bedrock, then at layer 63 will be sealevel. That's close enough to what you want, correct? If so, just load up minecraft and create a new world. There you go. That's the default world generator...

It does, and I do. Good luck with the series.

BRING BACK CRAFTING TABLE III INTO TEKKIT!!!!!!!!!!
Azeryn replied to Sean O'Connell's topic in Tekkit Classic Discussion
/signed The Yogscast has it, so now I NEED it too!!!!!1! -
I can understand that, but remember, all servers are set up completely different, if it's a guide for noobs, and things are different from the guide, people get confused. No, it didn't. But your title is "Tekkit - Noob Guide #02 Basic power & Machines", you would think that 7 minutes into a guide video, you would have shown something towards the topic. Just the way I see it, but when I look at a video for a guide to something, I want to know how to do it. Basic power. Why I need it, what my options are, and how do I build it? Boom. 5 min video with everything covered. I see your series more as a Let's Play series, not a system of guides.

this website lists many, many reasons why they are not in Tekkit right on the first page. http://lmgtfy.com/?q=crafting+table+3

Is it "Noob Guide Tekkit"? "Tekkit Noob Guide"? or "Tekkit Noob to Pro Guide"? You refer to it as 3 different things in 1 post. Default texture pack is a must for making any tutorials or guides, especially for noobs. I would avoid playing on a server when making tutorials or guides. I stopped watching after 7 minutes when I realized you haven't even started making a basic machine or power like the title suggested. You started to, but then you got distracted on how to get rubber since you didn't cover that. Rubber should be day one in any tekkit guide imo.

java is not recognized as an internal or external comand
Azeryn replied to Da-one-and-only's question in Tekkit Classic
you have to add your java path to the PATH variable Windows Vista Right click My Computer icon Choose Properties from the context menu Click Advanced tab (Advanced system settings link in Vista) In the Edit windows, modify PATH by adding the location of the class to the value for PATH. If you do not have the item PATH, you may select to add a new variable and add PATH as the name and the location of the class as the value. Reopen Command prompt window, and run your java code. -

Looking for staff and members for my tekkit server
Azeryn replied to JohnFirez's topic in Tekkit Classic Discussion
exactly why these topics shouldn't even exist and everyone should read DXWarlock's post above. -
Can you post an error log so we can see what's going on?

There's hardly a point to keep old stuff from vanilla minecraft in my opinion. Unless you have some really kick ass buildings or something. In tekkit, everything can be easily gotten once you know how to do things. For example, in vanilla, diamonds are valuable. In tekkit, I pump out a red matter every second... 1 red matter = 57 diamonds...

will you be able to play that world? yes. But any parts of that world that you can already been to in the past, have already been rendered/created/whatever, will not have any of the new ores and crap in them. So... I would start a new world.

Looking for staff and members for my tekkit server
Azeryn replied to JohnFirez's topic in Tekkit Classic Discussion
The very first thread in the forum, the sticky, is for small scale recruiting for servers. -
yup, backup your worlds, etc. Then delete your tekkit folder, and reinstall tekkit using the launcher.

It's a problem with railcraft_5.4.7b that comes with tekkit 3.1.3. The issue itself is solved in I believe railcraft_6.0.0 You can try updating railcraft to that, but I have no clue what so ever if it'll break other things in Tekkit then.

Tekkit Crashing - SEVERE Caused by: cpw.mods.fml.common.LoaderException:
Azeryn replied to Frequenter's question in Tekkit Classic
You post info about the server OS and java version, is it the server crashing, or your tekkit client crashing? Either way, you're out of space. Either on your computer, or your server's root partition, depending on what's crashing. Edit: nevermind, I see you said that your server crashed. You don't have enough room on your server. I would suggest talking to whoever your host is about the "java.io.IOException: No space left on device" error that you're getting. -
My Tekkit Crashes in the middle of playing... Help? :s
Azeryn replied to xG6's topic in Tekkit Classic Discussion
Try filling out a bug report in the bug report forum. That way we'll be able to get a little more info out of you and be able to figure out the problem. -
The output on your batbox/transformer/whatever the brown box is, lol, is most likely facing the wrong way. Use a wrench to turn it.

"You see all the wrong items going down the various pipes, but they never actually arrive in the machine they are being piped to. Is this just another glitch? If you smash the pipe full of the 'wrong stuff'... nothing falls out." It sounds like it's just a graphic glitch and I wouldn't worry too much about it. I've had it happen before as well. Just verify that things are ending up in the right place, if so, I wouldn't worry.
