Please make sure you remove all the malware on your anti-virus free pc, including a program called Relevant Knowledge. You may want to reinstall your OS. After you've reinstalled your OS, install an Antivirus such as Avast. DO NOT DO THIS BEFORE INSTALLING AN ANTIVIRUS. Disable your antivirus, then try again.

You can access logs from %APPDATA%/.technic/modpacks/tekkitlite/ Pastebin ALL OF ForgeModLoader-client-0.log. -
Okay good. I don't know how many times people never try the obvious solutions but it's been too many. You think you could send me the map file in a .zip? I might be able to fix it if it's an entity problem (probably is).

I believe this is the launcher doing integrity checks. I believe this to be a saint because the less technical of the users that install mods (for unfair advantages) won't know how to fix this.

You might have malware on your PC such as Relevant Knowledge. You'll have to buy a new one unless you install an Antivirus such as Avast soon. Then again it might not matter because hackers could have your passwords already from the malware. NO COMPUTER IS IMMUNE TO MALWARE OR HACKERS. Once you've made sure that malware is not on your PC by installing an Antivirus such as Avast, Try logging in with the Official minecraft launcher, then launching the technic launcher.

Please check: 1. You don't have a program called RELEVANT KNOWLEDGE installed. 2. You don't have an malware installed by having an Anti-virus installed (That is NOT AVG, McAfee, or Norton) P.S. There are no other solutions without more info.

Every computer is DIFFERENT, however the MAJORITY of Norton users have ISSUES with tekkit. The previous computer was probably the MINORITY. PLEASE CHECK: 1. That there is no malware running. (I recommend a full scan with MalwareBytes) 2. You're not running on public wifi such as McDonalds, A school. 3. Your parents have not blocked port 25565 4. That you do not have a program called RELEVANT KNOWLEDGE installed. ONLY AFTER CHECKING THE ABOVE 1. Try logging in with the official minecraft launcher, then launching the tekkit classic launcher. If that does not work, uninstall Norton or you missed something in the checklist because you skipped it AFTER I TOLD YOU NOT TO.

A few things to check: 1. Make sure the button does NOT say "Play Offline" 2. Make sure the debug terminal of the launcher isn't displaying anything 2. Make sure you don't have a program called "Relevant Knowledge" installed 3. Ensure malware isn't installed by having an Antivirus program installed such as Avast. AFTER YOU HAVE CHECKED THE ABOVE 1. Try logging in to minecraft using the regular minecraft launcher, then launching the tekkit launcher. 2. Try Resetting the Modpacks

Please try using Tekkit 3.1.2 as there are usually no servers for Tekkit 3.1.3. Tekkit 3.1.3 is extremely buggy and is known to crash often. You can change this by: Clicking the gear ON THE LEFT UNDER THE TEKKIT CLASSIC LOGO, clicking "Always use recommended builds", then clicking "SAVE". That being said try this: 1. Clicking the gear ON THE LEFT UNDER THE TEKKIT CLASSIC LOGO 2. Click "RESET PACK" 3. Click "Yes"

Check for a program called "Relevant Knowledge" it might be installed on your computer, if so remove it. Other than that, that's all I got with the info provided.

I noticed this when launching tekkit classic with Oil Derrick 2.5. Notes: Setting modpack.jar to read-only causes the modpack to get deleted, and not reinstall right, but still launches causing only 6 mods to load (The ones included in Oil Derrick) Error Messages: None Error Log: None

It was temporarily while we did maintaince. There was corruption on December 18th so we had to download, fix, and reupload about 20GB of map files. This took about a week. We did a small rollback earlier today too (we were only down a few hours though). Sorry about this. If you have skype I can add you to the server community group. Also, unfortunately I can't monitor the server 24/7. We've had less downtime since we added an crash auto-restart, but this doesn't work with severe errors. I'll see if I can't get a mod to export terminal output to a webpage so you can see if the server is down due to a crash or whatnot. Although I am working on getting more reports out for when we're temp-whitelisting but we usually don't have much warning ourselves.
