In-game name: martip07 Age: 22 Time spent playing modded Minecraft: Mmm Around a year (5 months with my own server and modpack, problem with host so I couldnt keep my server) Reason I want to join: (Valid reason -> surprise us! ) I need to play with mods. Ok vanilla is good ut not enough and I played with mods since the first pack of tekkit (classic).

  5. Guys just download the files from other version 198 or 199 from the jenkins page of technic
  6. lets see mmm: 1. Recomend you use the server.jar from tekkit lite or MCPC+. Tekkit Server: http://mirror.technicpack.net/Technic/servers/tekkitlite/Tekkit_Lite_Server_0.5.7.zip MCPC+: http://ci.md-5.net/job/MCPC-Plus/ -> Just download them and copy the jar file and rename it to whatever you want. Then create a script to launch it: Windows: server.bat java -Xms2048M -Xmx2048M -jar server.jar -o true PAUSE Linux: server.sh java -Xms2048M -Xmx2048M -jar server.jar -o true --nojline nogui It will generate all teh files that you need, then jsut copy the mods to the mods folder and core mods to coremods folder and config files to config files folder. Then start the server one more time with the script. Remeber that with MCPC+ you can use plugins in a native way and witht he nromal server.jar you cant.
  7. First of all: 1. Some mods only work on client side and other mods on server side. 2. Some mods have differnet files for client and server. 3. You have to be sure that your mods config files are the same (client - server)
  8. Nonono you are wrong: For xample your link is http://domain.com/mymodpack.zip and your technic link is: http://technicpack.net/api/modpack/mymodpack What you ahve to do is add www. to the technic link: http://www.technicpack.net/api/modpack/mymodpack

I am not sure what is going on with the launcher but each time I try to doesnt load a new mod pack it just shows me Error parsing platform resonse Pastebin: http://pastebin.com/bdzGL7Bc Anyway this is happening since today. I tried the new launcher in 3 different PC and OS is not problem (tried it on Win 7 and 8) I guess it is a general problem of the launcher.

  13. The problems is that people doesnt look at this :S This is much better than the other options for permissions and plugins ...... btw xauth and authme works :D

I am always looking around mcpc forums and today I read this: http://www.mcportcentral.co.za/index.php?topic=4657.0 It is about mcpc 1.4.7 build that works with all the mods (without port) and plugins. So far I can say that it works with bugs and problems but it works. I guess soon we are gonna get tekkit 4 :3 (hope so).

  16. Hi: I was reading in servers área and cound't find anything realted to the post language. I mean my server is a spanish server and I wanna post about it here but my ost has to be in english or it can be in spanish?
  17. Well with all that I just wanted to show that tekkit classic is not over ... And that we just have to wait ... cuz to be honest tekkit lite drives me crazy and is not enough for a public server.
  18. I wrote it in lite fórums and gonna write it here. Tekkit classic can be updated now the problema is that 1 important mods are missing: Computercraft. Check on mcportcentral and you will see a lot of work with bukkit and mods.   19. Besides all I wrote I need to know why dev dont use Forge to make plugins like authme, factions, etc. I know coding is difficult but why they keep with bukkit?
  20. Weird mos of the mods are working for bukkit and forge. Just check: It comes with spigot : http://www.mcportcentral.co.za/index.php?topic=4417.0 There are a good number of mods (IC, EE - buggy, BC, Core mods and more) http://mcportcentral.co.za/wiki/index.php?title=Ports_for_1.4.6 Just the mods Forestry and Computercraft are missing. But I guess there is enough to make a new tekkit classic(1.4.6) Or what do you think?
  21. There sia tekkit mod besides dynmap plugin, both are teh same one for forge and the other as a plugin for bukkit.
