  4. If I start a fresh world it works fine for about a week then the server will not even load. If I erase the world everything is fine for a week then BOOM. Here is my forge log. http://pastebin.com/UmkaNAZK can anyone offer some advice? And yes i did post this on the VOLTZ/UE page also so far no one can help.
  5. Does anyone know how to stop this? I have a problem though that has crept up on one of the servers/client it doesn't crash just keeps spam several times a second!! The galacticraft core has attempted to register an entity with an id of 0 this may cause problems then while playing my clients console starts spamming [info] [stdout] 0.0 then after about 10 times that stops then this starts [info] [stdout] 2000.0 when i look in my config i see I:idscematicirocketT1=0 will try deleting my conf file and see if it re-maps it which it does come right back to 0. I have left the game running for 20 minutes with this going on. it only shows in the client console not the server's. The game has been playing fine the whole time but that spam is running non-stop through the console is this normal and I just have never noticed it? I asked in another forums but I always seem to get better technical results here!
  6. Will look into it. I'm at work now. I just want to block/remove this item completely recipe all existence of it! To everyone even my admins so there is no permission level it can be crafted, spawned ect. without a hard edit of a config file would be perfect!
  7. That's the first place i looked before posting to see if I could set crafting=false or something simple, I found nothing in the config file that would let me do it. But since I run bukkitforge on this server i downloaded BLOKKER plugin and add the item to it's blacklist. This has not been tested yet due to the huge pain in the ass it is to recover from it. Also I am looking at recipe manager to just block/remove it also.
  8. Any time a quantum battery box is used/placed it corrupts and crashes my server!! I need to use the version of the mod so can't update it. I just want to blacklist it with worldguard or remove it somehow! Trying to understand the syntax for blacklist but not understanding it! Is there another way to block it or remove it. Or how do I blacklist item #3993? Getting tired of reloading the map file!!
  9. I do not see how it's calling the gregtech plug in for NEI or how to stop it from doing so. You can play single player from the TECHNIC launcher with no problem but if you try to use multiplayer to connect it crashes, While people using other methods of getting in to my server are not having a problem. PROBLEM SOLVED: was caused by a bad/or poor install of forge 534 inside the modpack.jar file I either messed up in the copy and build or I got a bad down load but it works now!!
  10. I don't want to use gregtech don't care for how it changes IC2 even with the easy recipes. I did try it at one time. now I'm trying to hunt down the nei plugin for it to see if it's causeing my crash at load. Very frustrating since it was working fine before the move.

I had tried gregtech at one time and learned it crashed technic them took it out but did not know there was an nei plug in still there. will check into it. will look into failed file down load not sure if it's the MYSQL trying to connect or not the database has not worked since the move I need to sysnc the two or just copy and create fresh. If I broke a rule using drop box to post those logs someone please tell me I must have missed that part I assumed it was ok since it was ok to host the files for mod paks there. will remove them.
  12. I had my server on a 6gb 100 slot server I had open to the public and the launcher worked fine. I moved everything into a 32gb 400 slot private dedicated and updated about 10 mods. Now the launcher will let you play single player but if you try to connect it goes to a white screen and then dumps you to desktop with no visible error. I have tried erasing the technic launcher under %appdata% and down loading it fresh with no improvement. I have re-built, re-uploaded, and re-downloaded the pack more times then i can count. I have tried removing the updated mods and rolling back to prior versions with no help. My java is new up to date and the only one on the system! java 7-17. How ever If I take the same config, coremods, mods and plug them into a different launcher it will connect the first time run, and play without a problem!! but since most of my players can't do that it's not really an option so %80 of my players are not logging on right now! Besides using the Technic launcher is allot smoother and most of the time easier. Help? p.s. if it matters dedicated server is running centos with multicraft running my servers

Was only recently made aware by my players about enabling the extra API in computer craft too by the way so that my players can just connect to the internet from in game and download their programs for their turtles and things directly and not have to type them in! So if someone all ready has a program to run a reactor or other fun things it's easy to just use your in game computer to down load it! I had never saw that feature pointed out before If that's common knowledge my bad!!
  17. download it from bukkit. If it's a small server of only you and a couple friend then the easiest way then would just be to OP them if you don't care if they spawn items or change the game mode they play in. But doing that gives them the power to pretty much trash the place if they feel like it. It is safest to just bite the bullet and do permissions right. down load groupmanager from bukkit and I will help you best I can though I am not that good at it myself. Watch bumping your own posts/replying to your own post. If there is something yo need to add just use the edit next time and add it to the post when you double post like that it's a no no and you can get in trouble for that (from what i understand) I have no authority in the matter just trying to help out by pointing it out to you
  18. Which permission system? have you added the factions command to the right portion of it? I am using groupmanager and I should have it in the global.yml but I have had trouble with it there. I had to list it in the groups.yml for the individual worlds. Wen I first started trying to figure out the permissions I was trying to use the permission.yml in the root of the server which was all bad. If you do not have it grab notepad++ too by the way made it allot easier on me trying to work with the yml files. And watch out for the tab versus space error. when you hit enter it will line down and look like it's lined up correctly but it will be tabbed by default which will throw an error so make sure you backspace the cursor to the start of the line or use space bar to line things up. That drove me crazy for two days trying to figure that out. I hope this helps I am not very good at the permission systems myself and am learning as I go, if this is all common knowledge for you hopefully someone with more experience can shed some more light on it for you.

I went through permission hell 101. biggest leason was for me to leave the permission.yml file in the root of the server BLANK and in my case work with the group files under the folder plugins/groupmanager/worlds/overworld/groups.yml there ia also a global group in my case to work with. Hope this helps some what.
  20. I always had a little trouble when it came to updating the mos for my players. In the custom zip explanation before I read that if I wanted to go from: examplemod 1.0 and replace it with examplemod 1.5 I would do it by placing examplemod 1.5 into the mod pack zip and then making examplemod 1.0 a blank empty file that way when the zip program would overwrite it and when FORGE came to it it would see a blank file and do nothing with it causing no error and pass it by but load examplemod 1.5 Is this correct? I had problems getting it working right before so were were deleting the custom folder and re downloading the whole fresh mod pack with the up dates each week. I wish I could find a setting in the zip program that would erase the existing files or compare names before writing new to prevent the multiple mods crash. If I missed something Please point it out maybe I'm not the only one and would like to start correctly with the new platform! <---the keller is not from this post but from my past ignorance.

I got this from a the icbm mod from my server and not sure how serious it is or if it is better to take this to the technical thread if so I hope it gets moved but here it is: the mod icbm explosion has attempted to allocate a chunkloading ticket beyond it's currently allocated maximum:200 Can I ignore it, repair it? I looked for an option to delete this post due to the fact i will try posting it in technical. If a moderator or admin see this please do so.

  23. I've been fighting with my permissions and at one time even locked my players inside their home unable to break block or use doors, received a royal flaming. Making very slow headway with permissionex, groupmanager, and bpermissions. Do I even need to mess with a permissions plugin now since there is a permissions file in the root of my server? Can't I just write my permisssions into that? I think world guard added it. Also Am I going to have to go back and edit the permission if I promote someone to OP? or is one of the plugins going to handle this for me and I over looked it? This is on a server running bukkitforge any thoughts?

  25. I have a 100 slot server running both forge and bukkit. I need staff recruiters, builders, web design, technical. Server is up and running and seems to be stable (AT LAST!!!) Now I'm looking for help to grow it. I am on a rented 6gb server right now with plans to move to a dedicated 16gb 64gb ssd server to up player count once staff and players are in place. Like I said I've done the worst of it (I would hope) in getting server up and running and basic website up at www.peacenhell.com we also have free mumble for our players and email. I am running 133+ mods and a number of bukkit plugins world guard, world edit, essentials ect.. but Man do I need some help or the wife is going to kill me soon!!! And a single sentence email "can I be staff" is not going to do it please let me know what skills you have what hours you can help ect. also at least log in ONCE so I know you can work the Technic launcher Thanks!!!
