  1. Or directly to an interface, foregoing all of the above. TBH I'm surprised the import pipe works at all, its only supposed to work on items with an internal inventory, and does not accept pushed items.
  2. Powersuits were super broken in tekkit lite. Without heat generation you could fly forever with the kinetic generator and actually gain more energy than you lost flying at full speed. It was stupid and they decided to balance it with heat generation mechanics. The upside to this is lava and fire won't directly harm you now, the downside is you have to manage heat. The kinetic generator now produces a ton of heat, even with the cooling system turned up all the way I'd advise against using it because it creates much too much heat. Instead I just resort to charging my powersuit every once in awhile in an energy infuser. If your able to put out the maximum 500mj/tick with your power system charging doesn't take too long, and the charge lasts for a long time.

  4. Agreed, it took me about two finished 64*64 quarries before I had enough quartz for a very small home ae system, but you really can't run quarries without a sorting system of some sort first. I don't think this is a bad thing though, I kinda like the progression that you get from it.

I think you can still create books that will randomly have a few pages, go to that world and return and you can add those random pages to a notebook that you can then pick and choose pages to create your own world.   7. Yea it's the multiple items, something goes super awry and it won't accept items at all of certain types even if it's completely out.

  9. Great video! I never knew you could do that with landmarks. I reccomend using insertion over diamond feeding into the planters as the diamond will half the time send the item backwards back to the harvester where theyll fall onto the ground. Even better than insertion pipes would be to feed them using AE. Also you really shouldnt feed bioreactors directly with buildcraft pipes, it doesnt work properly with the bioreactors buffer inventory, items will not go in when they are supposed to. Instead feed it into hoppers first if you insist on using pipes, otherwise use AE, and youll never have to babysit it again. Also sludge buildup doesnt stop MFR machines, you can just let it build up indefinitely. Also little known fact those planter color codes correspond to a grid where you can choose which quadrant stuff is planted in (Note this only works when the planter has stuff in each slot.) Is my current setup, with a max ouput of 1440 MJ/tick its overkill. Biofuel engines are super powerful but they consume a fair bit of fuel and you'll really want to get 9 different sources to maximize effeciency. With 1 source you get 80mb per source. With 9 sources you get 160mb per source. The way it compounds makes it basically required if your making large plants using only biofuel generators to use all 9 different sources.
  10. I'd also reccoment mo creatures. Flying ostritches are pretty fun. Also try changing the size of your GUI Scale in video setting to fix overlap between NEI and other stuff.

  13. I'm glad someone asked lol. There's a buffer inventory inside the bioreactor that you can place materials in by hand as many stacks of whatever type you want, and then theres the inventory it uses which you cant directly place items in, but it will use one item of each different type you have in the buffer inventory. When connecting with buildcraft pipes the buffer inventory is super buggy, even with insertion pipes it accepts or doesn't accept items randomly, a lot of times not accepting an item even when it's completely out. The best way to hook it up with buildcraft pipes is make a stop back from your farm and lead insertion pipes into hoppers into the bioreactor. This will require a bit of babysitting though. The absolute best way is to just use AE and use one precision export cable, and one basic export cable. With AE the buffer inventory works as intended and will only accept one of each stack so just set it to fill er up and use all the different types of items you have. You will literally never have to look at them again.
  14. I've been playing mostly with biofuel since the new tekkit, and those things shut down completely when the power has nowhere to go. They don't waste a drop, but they eat through fuel pretty quickly.
  15. They slow down to .4MJ/tick from 4 so you use only 1/10th of the lava, but he's right it's still a bit wasteful as your losing the difference between that and whatever the pump takes.
  16. You might have to do a little looking if your using chrome. I remember it kept trying to install the 32 bit version because chrome is only in 32.
  17. Im pretty sure if you feed it from a conduit into the pump it will never overheat.
  18. Don't use builddcraft conductive pipes they stop functioning everytime you unload the chunk. Use redstone energy conduits and they'll never overheat.
  19. You wouldn't say their dead yet they havent come out with an official release since like 1.47? Wasn't that like 6 months ago? Edit: 1.45, was 6 months ago though. You can understand how that would be frustrating for people who are trying to maintain an up to date modpack when they have to spend so much extra time making IC2 compatible.
  20. Ive only finished like 5 64*64 quarries and im sitting at 14k iron, and like 4-6k of each of the others i mentioned. Yea one of the very few things i miss about IC2 was the big sinks. Also that mob zapper tower. Hilarious.

  22. TBH pulverizing seems only necessary with gold, you'll have more iron lead tin and copper than you have any idea what to do with. And then you need it to convert all the quartz stuff for AE of course.

  24. Minefactory Harvester Planter and Fertilizer(fertilizer being not so necessary tbh.) Minefactory and AE are mods I never touched in tekkit lite, but in this version they are my bread and butter.
  25. Also bioreactors turn themselves off immedieately when nothing you have needs power, and turn themselves back on as needed, same with bio reactors. they never explode, and you only need to use 2 faces of them so you can pack them very tightly.
