  1. Not likely a bug, if Java doesn't have enough memory left to load some stuff, I would imagine the sounds go first. How much RAM do you have, and how much of that is free?
  2. Your Java, it is not 64-bit any more. Go get that, and remove the other.
  3. We'll get this sorted right away! Nobody should have to pay for a game they really want to play! You...did see his avatar, right?
  4. Did you happen to look at the two posts above yours before posting this? No? Maybe you should make your own bug report, with all the information requested.
  5. We encourage people to say things. Even if he was making a mod addition request, though, you were basically back-seat modding. In the future, just report the thread, after double-checking that he's saying what you think he's saying. Cheers.

Or, say, rather than a mod warning you about posting in the wrong section.
  7. Other than getting a version of OptiFine that includes AA instead, not really...
  8. Did you get the right version of OptiFine? It should be for MC 1.2.5 - it may have updated already, and you're trying to install the 1.3.1 files.
  9. Have you tried using the launcher .jar instead of the .exe version? You have to run it with Java. The avatar's from Girl Genius, one of the longer-running and more entertaining sci-fi/fantasy/steampunk webcomics out there.
  10. You can use a filter instead of a transposer if you want to pull entire stacks, or portions thereof.
  11. You want it in .techniclauncher\tekkit\bin\modpack.jar, tekkit.jar is for your server.
  12. Waypoints are stored in files named after the world or server name, in the Rei's Minimap folder, in your tekkit client folder structure, I think in \mods. If you can pull them out of Windows 7's auto-backup, you're good, otherwise...let's just say I've had to replace my waypoints list once. It wasn't fun.
  13. We get at least 10 of these a day. I may be exaggerating, but not by much. Update your server to Java 7.
  14. I meant the Windows Control Panel > Programs and Features. Reinstalling doesn't help if you have more than 1 version.
  15. Yeah, I'm stumped, then. It could be that your graphics card is instituting something on its own that doesn't agree with Minecraft's rendering system. Has it always been this way, or did it start after you updated or something? Because the next thing I'd suggest would be to get OptiFine Standard and install that.
  16. 35 vs 45 for explosion radius default isn't really that huge a difference, for the enormous cost difference. It'd be cheaper to set off about 6 nukes.
  17. Technic 7.2 is not backwards compatible due to the giant 4096-ID migration and a bunch of mod upgrades. Unfortunately, you are limited to backdating your launcher and restoring a world backup, or starting new.
  18. How many versions of Java do you have? Check your Control Panel. That error has always been associated with trying to run 32-bit Java on a 64-bit system. Your Java install in your Control Panel should specifically say 64-bit. If it doesn't, you have the wrong version.
  19. Then I'm stumped. You could try uninstalling your AV, as some of them have been known to interfere even when they're not running (AVG in particular), and yours may be similar. Oh, and stop triple-posting - there's an edit button you can use. I have post-merged yours.
  20. You're still not helping. That's probably just it installing everything - on a slow connection, it can take 5-20 minutes.
  21. Yes it does. You need to install Java 7, and use it to run your server. However, you also need to post this in the right spot next time. A little searching would have answered your question without you posting anything, btw.
  22. Ah. Well, pretty much only the admins would know any details about that. I would guess if a mod truly takes forever, or is declared to be unsupported after 1.2.5 (which a lot might be, with 1.3.1 being what it is), it would get dropped. I would just accept that it's going to be 1-3 months at a minimum, and enjoy the version that's there while it's there.
  23. It's something in Video Options...anti-aliasing or mipmapping. Turn both off, and set mipmap type to Nearest, and it should go away.
  24. Volcanite Amulet - best water clearer in the game. Can cause extreme lag while doing so if you're not careful, and may clear water outside your building if you turn the power up too high. The slower options are sand fill, then torching the bottom of the sand stacks to remove it, leaf or wool fill, then burning it, underwater force fields (remove all liquids inside), and Black Hole Band/Void Ring, manually clicking each block.
