  1. Ummm, that's the cutoff (10 chunks) for default loading of chunks. Do you have a chunk loader in the area of each end? If not, I'm pretty sure teleport pipes of any kind don't load chunks.
  2. That's not a bug. Java ran out of memory. 1) Get rid of JDK if you don't need it to program in Java. Multiple Java versions do you no favors. 2) Reduce your render distance to Normal and see what happens, if it's above that. 3) Allocate no more than 1GB to the launcher, and try the default texture pack if you're using a different one. 32-bit Java can only use 1.5GB, and it likes to have some RAM left over for garbage disposal processing.
  3. Install OptiFine Standard instead of whatever comes with Tekkit by default. The default works with most systems, but not all.
  4. You're running JDK - do you need it?
  5. 3.0.0 has moved on. It got bored with the site.
  6. That's definitely because you posted this in the wrong section. Your computer can read your mind...in the future!
  7. *Buzzer* Try again with more info.
  8. Basic search bar use, paying attention, and reading skills. Learn them.
  9. The OP managed to get 5 mods to post in his thread. That must take some talent. But really, flashman, did you have to resurrect a month-old thread to say that? Couldn't you have just started a new one?
  10. Nope. 3.0.0 wasn't around very long - it was a very short dev. build version, and 3.0.3/3.0.4 is better in every way. 3.0.0 is no longer available via the launcher, so how are you going to get your clients to log in?
  11. All you're doing is running a Bukkit server with a different .jar - if you can do that with Java on a PC, you can do it on a Mac just as easily as far as I know.
  12. The guy would have to be drunk, unless he was so stupid he didn't realize he could super-jump with quantum boots. Among other things.
  13. Pictures would help.
  14. Is the dot on your MFSU pointing to the output? You don't need an HV transformer out of an MFSU - MV is fine. Are the three-dot sides of your transformers pointing toward the input (MFSU-side on the MV trans, f. ex.)?
  15. Edit the OP with the Tekkit version number, and if everything else is correct, I'll bump it to the Tekkit Bug Board.
  16. Are you still using JDK 7? You want to get rid of that, unless you're programming in Java, and use JRE 7. Get the one to match your OS bit version (32- or 64-bit).
  17. You can do it that way, but it will result in updates breaking your game again. Try deleting the .techniclauncher folder completely, after you get a new launcher.
  18. Get rid of AVG. Did you read the COMMON PROBLEMS AND SOLUTIONS thread? Wait, let me guess: no.
  19. You're in the wrong section. Technic or Tekkit, and what version? Things to try: 1) Install OptiFine Standard instead of the one that comes with the pack. There are sometimes issues with Smooth or whichever one it is. 2) Remove all copies of Java 6 and install 64-bit 7u5. I'd do this anyway, even if it doesn't solve the problem. 3) If that's the entire log file, I'd be very surprised, but if it is, post launcher_1.log too. If it isn't, stick the whole thing in pastebin and post that.
  20. 3.0.4 was a server-side-only update - 3.0.3 is the corresponding client. They work together.
  21. How? If the regular Minecraft launcher works, the Technic Launcher works. They use the exact same process. Deleting your launcher and the entire .techniclauncher folder, after backing up whatever you want to save, and starting over, is the only thing I can think to do.
  22. Yeah, you need the one that uses a stone gear and 3 iron ingots for the recipe. Redstone can also change iron pipe orientation.
  23. Have you tried temporarily uninstalling your antivirus? Some of them can cause problems even when they're turned off.
  24. If McAfee is expired, I'd just remove it entirely. It could be trying to stop stuff anyway. You're looking at a download error, so something is blocking your internet connection (for this application).
