  1. Let's just take that apart, shall we? So you didn't mean what you said in that second quote? Resorting to violence often indicates that the debate is over, and the person resorting to violence has lost. Real life debates may include insults and mockery, but physical violence is illegal for obvious reasons. "Violence is the last resort of the incompetent." The person he was talking to was mature enough, unlike you, to realize that jakj's response probably had a cause, and to conclude that he had good reason for saying such things, and to question them, with words. That's how we start, participate in, and conclude arguments and debate. We're adults.
  2. Macer: Did you restart after your Java reinstall? What version did you reinstall with? Is it in the system path variable like it should be? Also, is that a direct copy/paste from your batch file? Java's going to get confused by the maximum set at both 2 and 3g - change the 2g to -Xms.
  3. @PB: There's an edit button. Use it. The 'O' (as in Open) key is what NEI uses to open or close the GUI. If it's still not working, you need to post a log.
  4. Then the wind turbines might not be up high enough. I think they need to be at...75? 80? before they start generating power.
  5. What doesn't work? You're not telling us anything. Put this batch file in your folder: java -jar technic-launcher-latest.jar pause Change the file name to whatever as needed. Run it. See what happens.
  6. Edit the .bat with notepad or another text editor and change the name inside to that of the technic launcher .jar.
  7. This doesn't look like your whole log. Use pastebin if it's too long for code tags.
  8. Your Java version is freaking ancient. It shouldn't even be letting you play! On topic: Did you, by chance, push 'O'?
  9. The new version of the launcher is on the downloads page. It's 1.0.1.3, for reference.
  10. The most common consumers are dark or red matter tools, and SWRG (flying ring).
  11. In other words, someone, since it happens with everyone, the server needs reinstalled. Save the map\bags\tablets\Mercurial Eyes, of course.
  12. Your problem has to do with this line. I've never used Multicraft, but you're supposed to be able to remove or raise this limit.
  13. Stick another batbox about 30 blocks down the the top one, and another about 60 blocks down. You're running the cable too far, and losing all the power on the way.
  14. Common problem. Go into your .minecraft (not .techniclauncher) folder structure, find the Mo' Creatures config file, and delete it. If you want to modify the spawn properties, edit the Mo' Creatures config file in your Technic folder structure directly - don't use the in-game menus.
  15. Try running it with a batch file. If you're not sure how to make one, download the server software, pull the launch.bat from there and stick it in your .techniclauncher folder, and change the file name in it to the correct one for the launcher.
  16. Then it isn't a launcher bug, is it?
  17. Tin cable is so much cheaper that I would actually take the time to go in and replace them if I were you. Those glass fiber cables will probably come in handy later. If you've got 60 blocks of cable in place, putting a batbox on one end or the other will probably mean you're losing some power, as both tin and glass fiber cable start losing at a 40-block stretch.
  18. Suggesting that violence is the acceptable conclusion to any argument, online or otherwise? You just invalidated your entire argument.
  19. Did you see the server sections of the board? There are probably hundreds of servers to look at.
  20. Post in a server section. There's a moderation queue for those, with good reason.
  21. There's a recruitment thread in the LP section for this.
  22. EE is so full of dupe holes in SMP that most servers disable all or parts of it.
  23. They take about 20-30 seconds. I wouldn't call that forever. You could have pre-charged lap-packs available.
  24. That'd be the Windows Offline (64-bit) version from this page.
