  1. Ummmm...
  2. Don't have 32-bit installed if you have a 64-bit OS. You don't need it.
  3. But if it runs the launcher, and you can load a mod pack, whether you can see the mods or not, there's a launcher log. Get it and post it, please.
  4. Did somebody /reload on the server? That could eat mod items when it's supposed to create them instead.
  5. Read the NEI common problems sticky. It's possible your friend killed his own client-side NEI, in which case I'd reinstall the Tekkit client. Also, troubleshooting by proxy doesn't work well. Your friend should post.
  6. We need a launcher log, not a Java error log. Please post one.
  7. Launcher log. Get it, post it, love it! Did someone use /reload on the server? Don't do that.
  8. Definitely. RAM usage can peg if something starts dumping crap all over the ground.
  9. This...doesn't really count as a bug report. Bit version of Windows 7? (I assume 32) Version number of Java? Launcher log? If you don't know where to find it, go read the stickies. This is the most important part of almost any bug report.
  10. This is not a fix that works for everyone, or if it is, you're advocating killing player inventories arbitrarily. Some white screens are caused by other things, so I suggest you stop spamming this on every thread that mentions a white screen.
  11. Waypoints are stored on each computer (not server-side), per server/world, in the Rei's Minimap folder.
  12. Oh, and a bug report. With a log.
  13. Just one of those Rotary Macerators, at full speed, will pull all the power from your panels and then some. Just so you know.
  14. ChopTree 2 works - but it's a plugin, not a mod, so it goes in the server's plugins folder.
  15. AdvancedMachines.cfg - find it, # (comment out) the lines for the machines you want to disable. Voila!
  16. There are 2 block ID/item ID errors people are commonly having right now. One is Immibis' Tubestuff. That's a duplicate mod file, and easily solved by deleting the 2nd copy of the mod .zip file. The other, Buildcraft factory something-or-other, can be fixed by changing the ID for either the laser or the workbench to something free, say 125. Note: Both of you are using the dev build of Technic. Expect it to break.
  17. The working solution, for people that don't know how to edit block IDs or use the search button to find the problem 200 other people are having, is to remove Technic (Clear Cache will probably work) and reinstall it.
  18. USE THE SEARCH BUTTON. A lot of people are getting this error. TubeStuff likes to install a 2nd copy of itself. Go into your mods folder and remove the 2nd copy. Voila!
  19. I wasn't talking to you. This isn't your bug report thread. Go start your own, with the relevant information for your situation.
  20. Go read the stickies. I'm sick of trying to help people that refuse to try to help themselves. This doesn't count as a bug report because it's incomplete and utterly useless for troubleshooting.
  21. Okay, you two are using different mod packs and getting different errors. ErtanCan, go into your config/railcraft folder and delete railcraft.cfg, let it generate a new one, and see what happens. Hokie, I recommend you stop threadjacking with a different error, and make your own thread, with the bug report format so we know enough to troubleshoot.
  22. This is especially true when the author does things like...get the recipe for Low Covalence Dust wrong. I predict at least one person will ask why coal isn't working...
  23. Let me Google that for you.
  24. Did what? Yeah, your install is borked. Just delete your technicssp folder (back up worlds & waypoints, of course) and let the launcher reinstall. It'll save you time in the long run.
  25. Are you actually using the Tekkit mod pack? If you are, what version are you using? If you updated to 3.1.0 (check with the Options button in the launcher window), that's a dev build and won't let you log in on any server.
