  1. Oh, it'll work just fine - it just transforms the other way (LV -> MV, etc.) and may blow up machines or whatever higher voltage normally does.

Then you don't have the same problem. Post in your own thread.
  3. Tekkit newly installed or upgraded tends to default to a very short render distance for some reason. Go into Graphics Options and up the render distance.
  4. Upgrade to Java 7. If that doesn't work, upgrade the NetherOres mod file. Next time, I'd post with an bug report, after doing a little searching. This is a very common error.
  5. Push 'O' after you full screen. Otherwise, your search bar may have something in it. ChopTree was removed, as Tekkit no longer comes with plugins pre-installed. Go get the ChopTree2 bukkit plugin and drop it into your server plugins folder.
  6. This is a Java error log, and not really helpful for troubleshooting. Use the bug report form, and post with the launcher log.
  7. I'd get a new version of Java (7u5 instead of 6u24), disable or better yet uninstall Norton, and try again.
  8. Nope. We really can't. (Not without a bug report and launcher log anyway...)
  9. Disable or better yet uninstall Norton.
  10. Most excellent. Thanks for informing us of this problem! Oh, you had a question? And you didn't fill out a bug report? I don't expect you to get any help...
  11. InstaEat supposedly needs configuration to remove the hunger bar. Perhaps you should try that.
  12. I don't think this is something we needs logs for, tbh. It looks like a setup issue, like he's trying to supply them with MV or has a switch in the wrong spot or something. @OP: Post pictures please.

He means install Java 7. I'd remove Java 6 at the same time to prevent conflicts.
  14. This would be a good time to post a launcher log.
  15. Delete .techniclauncher\tekkit\, reinstall using either the recommended build (if you plan on playing on a server) or the dev. build for single-player if you want the latest and greatest, and get Java 7.
  16. You upgraded to Tekkit 3.1.0, probably because you have the version locked on development build. I suggest deleting your tekkit folder and changing to the recommended build.
  17. This error is always the result of not using Java 7.
  18. If you have it set to dev. builds, it upgraded for you and broke your block IDs. Remove your Tekkit client and reinstall 3.0.3 by changing to recommended build.
  19. If the launcher runs, you have a launcher log. Post it please.
  20. Are you playing single player, to be using dev builds? An upgrade like this will often break block definitions. Also, you really need Java 7.
  21. Does this happen to anyone else? It looks like an AV or firewall blocking the connection.
  22. Exercise caution with IC2 power when it comes to splitting the power flow. It doesn't always split nice and evenly. Most of those machines can be powered from a line after a Low Voltage Transformer, and that will save you EU in the long run by sending more and smaller packets. Also, mass fabs suck a lot of power, so they can divert from other machines. A separate source or possibly a redstone connection to the MFSU to keep it from feeding power down that line unless it's partially full already would probably fix your problem.
  23. It keeps a group of chunks loaded, not just one. This is most likely a plugin/permissions issue.
  24. I would OP [buildCraft], as that will fix most of your plugin problems, but...exercise caution on this, as it can allow quarries and such to bypass protections.
  25. You are using the dev. build. Remove your Tekkit client, make sure you're on the recommended build, and re-download.
