  1. All 3 of you: download the launcher or run the launcher? If this is the error when downloading it, Java is interfering with your download, but I find that unlikely. If any of you post an actual bug report with some other information, you might get some help.
  2. @OP: Run the .jar with Java (right-click, hit "Run with Java"). If that doesn't work, use a batch file to run it with Java and see what the error is. Add "pause" (no quotes) as a 2nd line so you can read whatever messages it gives you. Use the server batch file included with the server software if you're not sure how to make one from scratch, and change the file name.
  3. You have a version of Java that's 2-1/2 years old. Remove it, along with any other versions of Java 6, and install Java 7. See if you get any more errors.
  4. You updated instead of a clean install, and it looks like you have two copies of the same mod(s). Either check your technicssp\mods folder for duplicate mod names and delete the older one, or do a wipe and reinstall.
  5. Based on this log, everything does look fine. Have you tried deleting your entire .techniclauncher folder (back up Technic worlds and such if you have any) and reinstalling with a brand new launcher file? Sometimes the launcher download gets corrupted (packet dropping or something weird).
  6. If your .techniclauncher folder is that small, I'm guessing all you have is the .jar - have you tried running it with a Java batch file to see what the error is? I'd remove Java 6 entirely first - it just gets in the way. Use the server batch file with the file name changed if you don't know how to make one from scratch. You might need to add your Java 7 bin directory to the system path.
  7. Try running the .jar with Java (right-click and hit "Run with Java"). If that doesn't work, you don't have Java installed or you need to add it to the system path.
  8. This is likely your problem, but even if it isn't, your error log is cut off. Try posting launcher_0.log to pastebin, or put it in code tags if it's small.
  9. Add your Java bin directory to your system path. Let me Google that for you.
  10. You have two copies of the same mod. Check your .techniclauncher\technicssp\mods folder for duplicate files. If you can't find any, do a wipe/reinstall.
  11. You have a very old launcher. Delete it, and go get a new one.
  12. This looks like a wipe-and-reinstall-to-fix error. Something must have been messed up in the update.
  13. It's not technically working correctly. We need a launcher log, though, to see what's wrong. 5:1 it's an antivirus or firewall screwing with your mods, but...
  14. Also, NEI sometimes start up with subsets de-selected. If you click the Subsets button at the top and left-click everything that's grayed out, the entire list should show.
  15. Why is this in the Launcher Bugs section? It's most likely that someone used /reload on the server. Don't do that.
  16. Go into Video Settings and change your render distance. Next time use the search bar, please. *Edit: Also, don't bump your posts. It's annoying when you do it at all, let alone 17 minutes apart.
  17. You have a very old launcher. Get a new one.
  18. To all paying attention: please don't do this. There's a bug report form for a reason. Posting a random Java error message will not help. Stop threadjacking, read the stickies (from which you may be able to solve your own error), and then post in the right section with the right information, please.
  19. Assuming you can get your AV, whatever it is, to work with Technic (some of them don't have good histories), you'd need to add exclusions for the launcher, Minecraft, and Java. Then cross your fingers. Most people have had a lot more luck just uninstalling AVs like Norton, McAfee, and AVG.
  20. Update your antivirus if you haven't recently. Then post the whole log.
  21. Hmmm, time to start writing nearly everything in cursive, and teaching my kids to do the same. It'll be like a secret language!
  22. Nope, those are fine. The problem is that you have WinRAR linked to .jar files. Right-click on that file in your .techniclauncher folder and hit "Run with Java"
  23. Then your internet connection is somehow dead, for this specific connection or in general. That's the only reason I've seen this error type.
  24. It's highly likely that your AV/firewall is preventing you from loading the mods. It's not on the bug report form for no reason.

    Outdated Client

The server version is fine. You need the latest Recommended build of the client, which is 3.0.3. Don't use 3.1.0.
