  1. Do I look like a magic problem-solving machine? You have a block ID error. That either means your config files are messed up and you need to delete the mod pack and re-download, or your config files are messed up and you need to edit one of them to set the block ID to a free one. Either way, your config files are messed up.
  2. Okay, last-ditch fix effort: delete .minecraft, delete .techniclauncher and the launcher file itself, and uninstall Java (all of them). Reboot. Install 64-bit Java 7u5. Reboot. Download a new copy of the launcher, and run it. See what happens. You will, of course, want to make backups of anything you'd like to save, if you haven't.
  3. That generally means you needs to install the .NET Framework. Do you have it installed, and if so, which versions?
  4. If you have a launcher_0 file, you didn't exit the game first. I'd like the .log, and then launcher_1.log as well if that was the whole contents of launcher_0.log
  5. There's an LP section on this board. I'll move this there.
  6. This makes me want to MCEdit-murder ALL the volcanoes. The generation code, especially in SMP, is crap, and Eloraam just wants us to put up with it until it's fixed (whenever that's going to be). I actually went so far as to take a mining laser on scattershot to one of the "little" ones, only to discover it wasn't nearly as little as I'd previously thought.
  7. BuildCraft pumps eating non-liquid material, including bedrock...yes, I would say that's a bug. :D
  8. Is your Windows Firewall running? Do you have antivirus software that could be interfering?
  9. This is most likely a video card issue, either a driver problem or (less likely) hardware problem. Have you tried updating your drivers recently? If so, and it's still not working, have you tried an older driver version?
  10. That's not the whole log file. You should see the same Java error in the log that you do on the screen. If that's the entire contents of launcher_0, post launcher_1 as well.
  11. This bug report is about as helpful as a Swiss cheese umbrella.
  12. Yeah, that's quite slow as modern internet connections go, unfortunately for you.
  13. Okay, that's not an IC2 pump - it's a BuildCraft pump. It has to be, or it would never run off Redstone engines. Second, BuildCraft pumps extract source blocks from...quite a ways away, so that would explain the currents being screwed up. I'm guessing BuildCraft logic saw the river as one solid water body even though the sand got added (note to self: keep that in mind). What I'm not understanding is how it's removing the sand as well. It shouldn't be able to do that.
  14. Yellow = Minecraft modders or people with really cool builds that the admins want to give attention to. All memes are banned memes. Your post just happened to be poorly placed and pointless at the same time. Don't feel too bad - you should see the guy who made the "joke" you quoted.
  15. I refer you to this thread. Oh, and don't sign your posts.
  16. *cough* Thread closed *cough*
  17. That'd be the Technic Bug Board. There aren't too many people in the modding world that don't know who Direwolf is. And good luck adapting it, they're not the same pack.
  18. Did you just put in a random string of numbers for that launcher version? Anyway, get a new launcher, delete your mod pack (or the entire .techniclauncher folder), and reinstall. Make sure you back up whatever you want to save, though if you updated to 7.2.x from anything lower than 7.2, your world's not going to be compatible anyway.
  19. You would know this if you'd read the stickies like you were supposed to. Anyway, that's irrelevant at this point, since the problem has become clear. You need to make sure Minecraft, the launcher, and Java are set to run with the NVidia card instead of an integrated chipset. Your NVIDIA Control Panel should let you do that.
  20. Nope, I don't watch Youtube unless I have no other choice. I'm afraid of losing more brain cells than my children have already taken away.
  21. You did read the stickies, right? You were supposed to, so I'm going to assume you did so I don't have to warn you for a low-effort post, but maybe you should go read them again.
  22. Wait, wha...?
  23. That is indeed possible. Try turning your IC2 sounds off - those can cause large quantities of lag.
  24. No, but in this case you would have had an answer far faster, at least enough to know to reduce the memory you're trying to dedicate to the server.
