  1. Your bug report is a waste of reading time. Try again.
  2. All I would think to suggest at this point is reinstalling Tekkit with a brand new copy of the launcher. Something is clearly not quite right, but I can't place it. Save your waypoints if you're going to do that, as well as any worlds you might have in Tekkit SSP.
  3. This is not the place to advertise servers. That would be the server sections. Your server post was deleted because it didn't meet the standard of the posting guidelines. Please read them before placing another server ad post.
  4. Your post is well-written but somewhat presumptive. Do you think it's a privilege to help maintain a server? I would consider it a royal pain, personally - rewarding, perhaps, but still a pain. Yes, this is in the wrong section. You want the white-list or open server sections, with more details on the kind of server you'd like to start, for potential applicants to know more about what they're getting themselves into. Also, don't sign your posts, please. I will lock this post, but leave it visible for you to copy/paste much of it into a server section post, which will then be screened before becoming visible.
  5. You're trying to give it too much memory. You'll need to edit the launch.bat that you're using to run it. This is something you probably could have discovered in 2 minutes with Google or the search bar here.
  6. Quit the application if you haven't already, go into your Task Manager, and make sure there are not copies of Java.exe or similar running. Occasionally it doesn't close nicely.
  7. Did you go get a new launcher when you deleted the folder?
  8. Indeed it does. /thread
  9. You removed the player files, or the tablet files? They're distinctly different things.
  10. Brand new maps do the same thing? You may have an oddly damaged world file (I don't see how, but stranger things have happened).
  11. Then you have a block ID error or a crazy custom recipe. Mind posting pictures?
  12. The 'O' key toggles NEI. Otherwise, you're in windowed mode, or your GUI Scale is set to something that's making NEI show up off screen.
  13. DO YOU HAVE ANY PLUGINS?!?! (If you can't see how annoying that is, you need glasses.)
  14. It's normal, you must just have file extensions hidden for whatever crazy reason. I don't see anything odd in your log. Do you have multiple versions of Java installed?
  15. Single- or multi-player? If multi-player, delete your player.dat file and NEI your stuff back. You can also use an offline inventory editor, if you can find one. If single-player, get an inventory editor and remove whatever is crashing your client. Oh, and for future reference, you have a log.
  16. They generate power from flowing water, last I checked. They also separate water out of oil. I haven't tried using them.
  17. There's an LP section for this type of thing. I'll move it there.
  18. Reduce the amount of memory you allocate to the launcher. Try 1GB first, then 512MB if that still crashes consistently. You will probably need to turn some settings down.
  19. Panels allow sticking. Covers don't. That's the distinction.
  20. It's possible other people are confused, but this is not a Tekkit issue exclusively. All Minecraft SMP servers have this same thing. Type "OP [username]" (no quotes) in the console to add yourself to the OP list, which among other things, gives you the ability to break blocks near the spawn.
  21. You're in the wrong spot, but I'll move it, as this looks quite interesting.
  22. It still is. It's called subatomic chemistry. Granted, the details are fuzzy, but elemental transmutation may be an achievable goal at some point in the (possibly very distant) future.
  23. Heat damage is not something that goes away. Any computer components that have started shutting down due to overheating have already had their life limited. Yours appears to be coming to its useful end in the relatively near future.
  24. Downloading random things doesn't help you. The JDK is for Java programmers. Last-ditch fix effort: Uninstall Java (all versions, Java FX can stay, as well as any Java plugins you have for your browser(s)), delete .minecraft and .techniclauncher, as well as the launcher itself. Reboot. Download and install Java 7u5 with the appropriate bit version for your system. Reboot again. Download a brand-spanking-new copy of the .jar version of the launcher, and double-click on it. See what happens.
