Rename the /mods/computercraft folder to exactly what its asking for, and if its linux its case sensitived, does it ask for ComputerCraft or Computercraft or computercraft? Linux world these are all different directories.

New fix may be in for this. My players are testing now, I will update this post in a week if all is well. Save the original somewhere safe, and rename the new one whatever the old on was called. Probably Computercraft, but just match whatever has been working for you. If you already fixed this with the plugin like I did , dont forget to remove it.

Search out a tool called Midas Gold, and somewhere there is a download to a text config file you load in. Require some digging but you should be able to find it.

All spout plugins DO require the spout server side plugin though. When this was on my server in the 1.1.4 version it broke industrialcraft, I tried several versions to no avail. Have you actually had the spout server side plugin activbe with no errors in the log and everything working? With what version tekkit and what version spout serverside plugins. Please provide information or STFU.

use the minimap options (the . key) then select surface map option and show cunk grid. Make sure you have a chunkloader in every chunk that the machine or lava is in.

Please lock this thread or something. Its like a honeypot to attract bad bug reports for every version, not just 2.0. If I post a properly formatted bug report and its been reported and buried in this thread somewhere with no version number, I apologize ahead of time.I am using 2.1.1 and I dont want to read the whole thread to sift between the 2.0 bugs that were fixed already, the 2.1 bugs that were fixed already, and valid still existing 2.1.1 bugs to read other peoples possible details about a bug I want to report and be as detailed and complete as possible. You can do the old comparing file directory size trick. Decompress them both , craftbukkit 1.1r4 and tekkit and place them in side by side folders. Right click org and check the size of the folder in the tekkit.jar vs to bukkit 1.1 r4 jar. if they are the same its safe to rule out as a changed folder (move it elsewhere or delete it or somehow mark it) and move to the next. If its different, leave it until you do all the directories in that level and start going deeper tracking down the same folder. I am sure you got the idea if you can do the other kind of modding. Pain in the ass, but not quite as bad as it sounds. At least this way you can see what changed. Of course you may be left with just a buch of different sized classes name zz.clas and other weird names that may not help much, but between that and looking up all the listed mods and eliminating the ones that sit elsewhere in the minecraft directories you should be able to get it pinned down. Bummer but you will probably have to puzzle it out on your own cause I could barely get an answer for what version of the craftbukkit jar it was based on. Course, thats most likely because it is easy to find out with the /ver command as I later learned!

Try another pack, see if it works. If one works and one doesnt, try to redownload it for somewhere else or another version. I havenet messed with too many packs, but ovos rustic redemption 32 works great.

SPout plugin does not work. Use search and read the thread I made a while back on it for all i know about it, which isnt much.

I use it, its great! The main reason was to get the /home command and the player confirming tpa teleporting

I am going to try pex and its modifyworld component to try to block wood pipes or condensers for the time being until this gets fixed. I am glad the tekkit team donated enough of their time to get us this far. Donated. To you. And me. Have you thanked them? Just because you decided to try to run a 25 person tekkit server based on their donated time and it doesn't work 100% how does this make it their problem? I am SURE they know about it. I am SURE they are probably working on it with what donated time they have available. I am SURE there are other bugs on the radar as well, and they are going to fix them in the order it makes sense to fix em in. You deal with all the clear bugs first and maybe that clears up the unclear ones. I am just saying they don't owe us anything. Thank you sponge for digging in to this. As far as spawning items can't you just look up the command for give in command book and set it to true. When you click an nei item in cheat mode I am pretty sure it just sends a /give playername id 64

Got spyware infection? Try superantispyware. Windows up to date? Got java 7? When's the last time you defraged? Hard drive dying for that matter? Run a scandisk. Does it lag for local machines on the lan or just for people connected through your broadband, which I doubt it 100/100. Sure that's the lan speed, but not your wan speed. Is your router old and shitty or fritzing ouit? My bet is spyware and slow upload wan speed.

Multiverse works. Just get the newest version that says craftbukkit 1.1 r4. A newer one may work, but I always stick with the one for the version tekkit is based on, in 2.1.1's case, 1.1 r4.

Why don't these people open tickets with their hosting provider? You know, the people that you PAY. Mine was so helpful when I was figuring this stuff out. Getting this stuff installed is literally your host providers business.

Some weird spywareprotection with avg? No other weird security software to block spyware? And is this from an win 7 account with admin rights? Can you run the launcher "as an admin" in windows if not? Like you said a problem with a client connecting to a server on the same computer. As anti product fan out to protect vectors of attack sometime they block useful things. Are you sure you are spyware free for that matter? Do you just use avg or do you also use superantispyware and/or malware bytes? Windows up to date? all weird unused software and other/old versions of java cleaned off? If it is mcmmo just edit the choptree cinfig.yml and set the mcmmo to false. You also have to do this WITH THE SERVER OFF. I forget the exact wording but its not a big config. Now you dont gain treechopping skill for "popped" trees, which doesnt even work, so no loss there. You get the rest of mcmmo though, and choptree.

Little admin tip, type /ver in game and use that information to pick which version of a plugin to get. Tekkit 2.1.1 is craftbukkit 1.1 r4, so if you look at files on bukkitdev on the plugin page. You may be able to use newer versions of some plugins, but start with the right versions, for craftbukkit 1.1 r4 in this case,get all your plugins installed server log error free, then try the newer versions one at a time, checking the log and plugin functionality each time.

Sounds like corrupt chunks in you map. Is the server hosted? Is that what clan forge is? If its a server on a single standard harddrive machine it could be going bad if you are getting a lot of theses areas. If its hosted, its less likely to be bad harddrive. I had this problem on an older version on a few chunks. I ran chunkster on it to fix it up, and it worked. However, I did see someone post "I used chunkster, bad I know" and I am not sure why is considered bad, maybe it doesn't like tekkit blocks, I don't know. I don't think this is a tekkit thing, I think its just a minecraft thing, sometimes chunks corrupt.

Allow me to clarify. Personal minecraft server admins. Oops. Didnt mean to imply tekkit team server admins. The point of my post was don't judge or complain about the tekkit team because the way indivisuals respond, because they are just random people just like the OP.

Don't forget that the people responding to you may or may not be connected to the tekkit team. We are just server admins that scan this for new information. Just like we cant control peoples impulsive questions about their whims, you can't control who answers you and if they are mean or nice about the fact that you can't be bothered to read the mod description before requesting. Yes! There is a basic tool called midas out there. Havoc42 reworked it and made it much more solid, he is great, he worked hard to get it to work and get through all sorts of issues! <-it is now called MidasGold So get your world folder off of the server, if its hosted you will need to install an FTP program called filezilla, FTP stands for File Transfer Protocal and is used for uploading and downloading files. If you tekkit server is local, which means it is the same machine you use in your everyday computing, you will navigate to th eserver folder. Inside this server folder is a file called World. This has all the files for the main world of your server, depending on mods, you may have several world folders, but we will just deal with the main one. Make a copy of this world folder somewhere safe, and then a copy to work on. You will need to have java installed to run midas gold. Now get midas gold from http://code.google.com/p/midas-gold/downloads/detail?name=mIDasGoldv0.1.9.rar&can=2&q= and un rar it. You will need a program to unrar it, maybe try a program called winrar. Install it and use it to extract the program in the midas gold rar. Run the midas .jar file. You may have to right click it and "run as" then select java if it does not run when you double click it. when it opens, you will have to navigate to and select your world folder. Now use the gui (graphical user interface) to load up the change from the block id of dirt, which is 3 i think, to the block id of sand. I am so sorry but you will have to look up the sand block id by yourself, because I dont know it. Now click start. After its done, delete your server world folder and replace it with the world folder you ran Midas Gold on. And no, I have never attended school for computers. I figured it all out , on my own, with trial and error. When you figure something out on your own, you never forget it.
