  1. odd. it gives me a jar firefox. try re-downloading it to see if it was a one-off bug. out of interest, what are the files that are in the download?
  2. does it have a .zip at the end rather then a .jar. or is it just opening in an archive program. if it's the latter then Jarfix may help.
  3. I remember doing something similar in a test world. quickly recreated it. in technic (should work in tekkit). the BC AT dumps the empty buckets in an adjacent chest. if you setup two filters, one to move empty buckets into the deplorer and one to move lava buckets into the chest adjacent to the BC AT, you can run them of the same timer.
  4. Use an EU reader to make sure it's getting power. if it isn't then check if there is a stray redstone torch powering it. I just built this in my creative world (I gave it a lot less power though) and it worked fine.
  5. What do you mean by this? can you explain what you are doing with said energy link and induction furnace.
  6. Yes, a double chest in about under second, at the cost of about 160eu/t. it bugs out on alchemical chests, for what ever reason it won't pull whole stacks. you probably want so put it behind a bat box or something to limit it's consumption. A low voltage solar panel will also be sufficient.
  7. replace your electric engines with energy links. I think an energy link is as powerful as ten electric engines (if not more). The Forestry modder has added code that punishes technic players, there is a fix on the technic forum for it.
  8. Try Right clicking on the icon and selecting Run with graphics processes > High-performance NVIDIA processer. assuming your notebook has an optimus setup. as for minecraft being slow, it could be that the integrated graphics are only optimised for DirectX rather then openGL.
  9. The energy link tops out at 72EU/t due to how the wooden energy pipes work (because of this you can only have 1 energy link per wooden pipe). The energy link is nice because it only consumes the EU required to power a machine (i.e. a refinery takes 10MJ so the energy link consumes only 25EU/t), although that's only when it's placed directly next to the machine. edit: wooden transport pipes can take 160EU/t worth of MJ for what ever reason. edit: 200MJ is equivalent to 100 forestry electric engines
