I have had the same issue, but it was because we used regios... Do you use regios? if so: /regios add-ex <regionname> [Redpower]
-
exactly the clients should already have it at 4256... Strange though, I am like 100% sure I changed the config (redid it a few times as well)... I wonder why it won't work for us
-
Advanced Machines has become kinda useless with the upgrades. I suggest not adding it, but adding the mod that only adds the solar arrays. Centrifuge etc are useless.
-
So as probably all other servers do, we had issues with the recipes of computercraft not working. DarthDavis had a fix, however this works for about 66% for us. Computers and disk drives work fine, but the disks themselves still don't work. We followed all steps, gave the Disk 4256 as ID, but whenever someone puts the recipe in the crafting table: internal crash. Does someone else have / had this problem and knows how to fix this? It's great that computers work, but disks just make them that much more fun (Also I didn't think I should post this in the bug section, because it's a known bug, I am just asking for the fix)
-
No the client already has those ID's, you have to fix it on the server to match the client.
-
Ok so we followed DarthDavis steps, and we are running into the problem where we can't craft disks (as soon as we put the recipe in: client crash). The config file says 4256, however in server it says there is no such item (when we try to spawn it). Does anyone had this same issue, or better knows how to fix it?

Well it works fine for me.... So I guess you changed something somewhere? Making it no longer work. Try reinstalling I guess.

Replacement for Advanced Machines Mod
J0P5 replied to Mastergalen's topic in Tekkit Classic Discussion
This is like the third topic on this mod but I agree, it'd be great. -
just a temporary solution: make an infinite water source and place your deployer next to that.
-
ah damn, yeah now I get what's wrong, thanks.
-
creative item spawning + tekkit = no go It sure does seem like you don't have tekkit installed (correctly) on your server.
-
Well then why would placing the mfe next to it solve it? I mean when I place an mfe at 1 block distance the wire does say 30 EU/t
-
I have a basic watermill generator set up, 15 of them, which are supposed to produce 30 Eu/t. I used tin wire to connect them to an mfsu (about 40 blocks away) and I got 16 Eu/t. When I replaced all tin cables by glass fibre, same issue, still 16 EU/t. When I placed an mfe right next to the generators it did produce 30 EU/t, so there seems to be a problem in power loss, or the EU reader not working properly. Yes, I did check that all watermills were active at all time. I hope this helps in fixing it, if you need more information let me know.

We don't actually know, the server just stopped working and we have a lot of people on the server. Impossible to tell who or what caused it. (we fixed it with a rollback). Although I do assume teleportation pipes were not the cause of this, as I don't recall anyone using them (yet), nor are they in the error report. It seems that it's the waterproof pipes but I can't tell for sure.

does no one have a fix for this?

Justgamers.org has a tekkit server, it's currently down I believe because it's being worked on.

Tekkit 2.0 Released Today; Error Screen came Back (solved; Lock please)
J0P5 replied to Bearboy's question in Tekkit Classic
Re: Tekkit 2.0 Released Today; Error Screen came Back did you delete the cache and try again? -
EE itself isn't overpowered, it's a great mod. The only thing is, it kinda ruins the other mods which aren't meant to be played with such ease of getting diamonds. However it's still an awesome mod in tekkit, on our server we are just gonna disable some stuff we feel is unbalanced for smp (divining rod, destruction catalyst (and its upgrade), energy collectors etc). This way you still get the cool endgame created by EE, but you don't ruin your other mods.

Tekkit 2.0 (Any updates, possible release dates?)
J0P5 replied to Jack439's topic in Tekkit Classic Discussion
Then you have either stupid members, or you fail at server administration. The server i play on still has everyone there, and no one is losing interest. Even though tekkit 2.0 will be awesome, so is 1.1.4. Ofcourse people ask, just tell them you dont knoe, if they leave, just wait. They will probably get back when it is released. -

Yes Admins can tell you to F off if they wish, that's one of the best perks. Someone pisses you off, you swing the banhammer. If you don't like it, don't be there. If you are gonna be on a forum, not reading the rules, and posting gibberish you can expect people, especially admins, to tell you to get lost. Because you show you don't give a crap either. If everyone would just read the rules (I mean common it's not like it's a terms & conditions thing, it's only 1 page) hours would be saved daily because people wouldn't have to read ignorant posts, and I wouldn't have to type this enitre message explaining it. -
If you would spend 10 seconds on finding out why, you should know why. there is at least 10 different places where it's stated that tekkit 2.0 is broken, and therefor not out for public, they are fixing it and will release it (again) when it's finished.

tekkit 2.0 is broken, you shouldn't be using it. -
