Completely, it essentially means that modders are probably going to get pissy at him doing it(Jadedcat can't hotfix the 1.6.4 FTB packs because modders will get pissy that their shit isn't getting updated).Seriously?

Technic the old single player only modpack is dead and gone. If you want a best attempt copy you'll have to search the platform for a custom pack trying to recreate it.

Technic essentially involved into tekkitwell tere is a couple more things.
1. Why did you remove it in the first place
2. when did you remove it
3. cant you bring it back with an updated/upgraded version

Working as expected. Mods are locked to Major MC versions normally.Sorry, Ive been away from the computer. Im just trying to run Tekkit (the newer one). I mean, whenever I hit play, Technic opens minecraft 1.6.4, but if I use the standard minecraft launcher, it loads 1.7.10 just fine.

If you want bukkit and forge there is only cauldron. If you actually follow the wiki it will work

You don't need to download the libraries manually, just read the primers on the wiki, actually follow them and you will be goldenYou can't use Craftbukkit because it doesn't support Forge, which all the mods in Tekkit require. Download Cauldron for Minecraft 1.6.4 (you'll also have to download some libraries manually), and use it instead of the tekkit.jar - it's a merged Bukkit and Forge server. Start it up and it will generate a plugins folder, where you can install Bukkit plugins like a normal server.

And this is why you follow the instructionsI miss the days of grabbing an MCPC+ jar and dropping it in. Serious gray area on what Cauldron file you use per game version seems like. I tried the .jar labeled server and got a whole bunch of scala/lib reports on startup. Eventually through epic trial and error I got the one that would actually start the server.
