B-Team 1.0.9c Crash On Startup - Your Answer
Kaptinobvius replied to HalestormXV's topic in Attack of the B-Team
There are 2 major issues with this update causing this problem. One is the project red removing java 6 support, which is fixed by following the directions in the OP here. But the other one is a Dimensional ID conflict beween Galacticraft Space stations and Witchery's new dimension just added. If there are 8 or more space stations on your server, then DIM9 is being taken by one. Wichery's new dimension is trying to function in DIM9 as well, causing client side crashes. Server owners CANNOT simply change the ID in the config, because the client config is mismatched and still crashing. The only way to fix this is for server and client to both change the ID of the dream world in the witchery config to match. -
Did you actually place the item prior to crashing, or is it just in your inventory?

Chunk will not load, server flooding with location errors
Kaptinobvius replied to Mrarroyo's topic in Attack of the B-Team
Have you tried killing the chicken? If not, you may need to get the location of the region file and delete it from you world/region folder. -
Server All Ready, But Says Mods Missing
Kaptinobvius replied to MaddieMad1116's topic in Attack of the B-Team
Verify that both the server and client have the same version of the modpack. If there is a version mismatch it will not let you join, and will tell you its not installed. -
Crash Reports help too. Check to see if you are getting one in your B-team folder.

Server Crashes Whenever I Join (Owner)
Kaptinobvius replied to S1lentnarwhal's topic in Attack of the B-Team
Block location: World: (-4431,49,1318) This is the location of the oven crashing you. If you have another admin or someone with World Edit perms, have them replace it with stone or something. -
Im not sure what you mean here. What I mentioned is already possible with strongboxes. You can place a full strongbox inside another strongbox without worrying about losing what is saved in the inventory. If you hold shift while mousing over the strongbox it lists the contents.

Delete all the mods and re-install the server files from scratch.
-
Stone tools are made with stone, not cobble. Cook your cobble and try again.
-
Pathfinding is turned off for those mobs due to some conflicts with other mods I believe. Bad logins are fairly common, your best bet to get in after one is to completely close the launcher to your desktop. Reload it, and try again.

1.0.7a was far more broken than 1.0.8 lol

I believe those are from ButterDungeons. -
Should a make a build AoTB-T server?
Kaptinobvius replied to volderman's topic in Attack of the B-Team
We went with both ways. Running a PvE and PvP version. One with protections and block logging, the other with raiding/pvp and anything goes. So far we have had very few issues with people utilizing the things that bypass, but we did have to ban quite a few things on the PvE to keep ourselves sane. -
They may not be stackable in your inventory, but being able to place them within eachother and move entire bases using a single inventory slot is quite OP.
-
A pump of any sort would be nice, but it wouldnt do you much good unless you, A: Had your base in the same chunk as the lava source, or B: we had chunkloaders. Well, other than the Ender-thermic pump which acts as a chunkloader on its own. But yea, after playing this since public release that's the only major drawback I have come across. Other things are easily worked around, but using buckets to fill tanks, then moving tanks to the base, gets quite old quite fast lol.

Open you server files. Open mods folder. Find minions and dubstep guns, add .disabled to the end of the filename. Fixed
-
Build a lumber axe from tinkers construct. Same result, especially since leaf-decay is so fast on this pack.
-
Personally, when I disable a mod, I just open the mods folder and add .disabled at the end of the specific mod. Then if I ever change my mind about a disabled mod, I can just remove that and its back on.

Starting an "Attack of the B-Team server"
Kaptinobvius replied to Gretter74's topic in Server Op Swap Shop
Get MCPC+ Grab the correct version, replace your .jar for the server with that. Then most plugins will work with any modded server. There will always be some new errors when running with a modded jar file, but those can be worked out. -
That is the Waila mod. Check your configs or possibly disable the mod.

Attack of the B-team, questions about power
Kaptinobvius replied to Mewbone's topic in Attack of the B-Team
Yes, Thermal has great ways to provide power. Far better than buildcraft ever did. (lack of overheating is a great example) Plus both Mine Factory Reloaded and Advanced Genetics Machines will run off of RF power. So no need to anything else. -
Inventory Tweaks would be an amazing addition to this modpack. It's literally the only thing I am sad about not seeing. As for the rest, meh, I can deal with not have other storage means or other tech mods. But inventory tweaks is just a really fantastic quality of life mod.
